I dont know if you've ever played football in your life or 'soccer' or whatever the f you call it over there, but in that situation and that particular moment of time a player does everything for his team to win.

it was not the handball which should have been considered cheating, it was the fact that he came through with it.

none of you would have done the same to allow Iran into the World Cup?!?!?! everyone saying he's a disgrace or should be ashamed are being a bit harsh, he's been a class player his whole career. maybe he shouldn't have celebrated the way he did. once the game finished instead of going crazy and celebrating he went and sat with Richard Dunn of Ireland. trust me I feel for Ireland because I think France were terrible today.

on a side note, as a player I can tell you that what Henry did was a reaction, not a conscious decision (like Maradona's hand ball). the ball was played in a high traffic area and bounced around unexpectingly to Henry's thigh/hip region, there was no way for him to control it so his reaction led his hand to keep the ball in play. i'm not defending the hand ball, i wish it would have been called, i just don't think a class act like Henry deserves to be boooed!!!
