I was saying that in Henry's case the ball popped up in front of him abruptly causing a sudden movement/reaction as to where Maradona knew the ball was out of his reach and made a conscious desicion with his handball. you guys need to stop watching the slow-motion version and watch it at game speed because its very different. I'm bashing Maradona, not praising him, since when do people categorize me as some kind of Maradona worshiper. when did i praise Maradona or say viva Argentina?
as for the me calling it unintentional, i already corrected myself, i only used that word because i was too lazy to re-explain the way i saw it. listen, I wish the ref's would have seen it and I don't think France (especially Henry) played a good game at all, not one that merrited them going to the World Cup. bottom line is none of us can be critical of Henry because anyone of us would have done the same thing for Iran to be in the World Cup. This has nothing to do with me being a Barca fan, and trust me I feel for the Irish, if I was Irish I would be outside setting a car on fire. If the same thing would have happened to Villa or Rooney or any admarible player then I would be saying the same thing, because these kinds of players have strong characters and don't deliberately cheat.
also the linesmen should have had a clear enough view of this, it was off a set piece so the linesmen should have been pre-positioned to spot something like that, also considering it was so apparent to 5-6 players flairing their arms about after the act tells you that the linesmen was at fault.
i think its very unfair to call me biased PersianMadrid, I'm openly a huge Barca fan but I think i call the game the way I see it and don't allow bias to affect me viewpoints, I think even Milad would agree with this.
Henry has always been a great guy, not one that cheats. He's made a career of playing beautifully and acting as a role model. this action against Ireland certainly isn't admirable or something worth applauding, however to call him a cheat and disgrace is completely ridiculous.
My point is for you to call it unintentional handball is like justifying Maradona`s handball. Player`s like Henry play at this level because they are extremely fast, and that`s why a slow replay can show us exactly their intentions. And why do you think the freakin commissioner of Ireland is launching a formal complain campaign to FIFA for this... it`s because everyone even Henry said it was a intentional handball, so are you still calling it unintentional...

Hundreds and thousands of players have done the same. It's just that it was a high profile game, came at an important time and was against a plucky underdog and he is a high profile player as well. The Worker-communist Party of Iran (WPI)

In fact I can bet everyone who's brushing this incident aside like it's nothing would spend many years talking about this if it was Iran who got robbed. We'd have new sub-forum entitled "**** Henry and the French", but who cares it was the Irish they don't even deserve a replay right.
personalyl I would rather watch France than Ireland in world cup at least they have better stars.

Actually, it was very hard to see henry handling the ball with all the players surrounding him. The first time I watched it from in video I couldnt see it. and I had to see the slow motion. people are being too harsh on refs these days.

There is something called Aberoo which is very important to me, and it even gets more important when it comes to the aberoo of a whole country, have you heard about that concept? I guess not or else we wouldnt be having this discussion.
Has got nothing to do with my own personal concept of "aberoo".
