They are undertalented without the likes of Yao and Tracy, But they arguably have the best Team Chemistry in the league.. Why do you underrate them so much? Anyhow, I don't think we can take the Lakers with this team, but overachievers? come on

Your starting center is a 6'6 guy named Chuck Hayes. Your starting 2 guard Ariza shoots under 40%. Brooks is a solid PG, Battier and Scola are good veteran team players. Landry is coming into his own, and there are some nice young prospects like Budinger on the bench.
Good chemistry? Sure. Undertalented compared to other NBA teams? Definitely. And when an undertalented team gets good results in the NBA, it usually means they're overachieving.

not 'overacheiving', but playing to our potential is more like it and the rockets starters and bench are about the same talent level.
we have a bunch of role players on the team, but the team is super unselfish and that's how they win. the only problem is that rockets can't play much better than they are because of the lack of star power.
Rockets aren't true contenders, but they're gonna be upsetting someone this year.
Stop dreaming babak, Kobe while excellent is firmly perched as the 2nd best 2 guard in the History of the NBA and that won't change, even if he wins one or two more titles, the guy has already played 14 seasons in the NBA and there is a thing called History which has already been written (the losses in the Finals, the inferior Stats of Kobe in EVERY single major category to Jordan), so stop hoping for something that will never happen (and lets not start an argument of hypotheticals (but if kobe won 3 more then he would be the GOAT), because IT hasn't happened...but yeah the guy is truly great and we should appreciate his game for what it is.
I think overall Lebron is the greatest Player of this Generation. Well, he is taking the Cavs on his shoulders for now 4-5 seasons alone.
Even this year with Shaq he makes the difference.
About the Lakers. They are most likely going to win it this season. Dallas looks good to me, too. Maybe they can suprise.

I'm sure a Bulls fan who grew up idolizing Jordan will be the most unbiased source of opinion for this discussion. Keep in mind that Jordan would not have cemented his status as the greatest player of all time if he hadn't come back to win his 2nd pair of 3 championships. He didn't get his 4th ring until age 33. Kobe already has #4 at age 31. He is also every bit the athlete and skilled as Jordan was, so there's no reason to think he "can't" eclipse Jordan. There is nothing Jordan could do that Kobe can't, including the intangibles and "clutchness".
Here's the bottom line: Jordan is the greatest ever. Kobe is working hard to reach that level, and anyone who thinks he isn't capable of reaching that status when it's all said and done is either delusional or incredibly biased and close minded. Having said that, he has a huge hill left to climb still, and it's likely he may never get to that level.
