when i watch this i feel depressed because team melli wont be a part of this beautiful event. it breaks my heart. but the more i think about it i remember what Ghotbi said.

he said,"if we qualified to South Africa 2010, we might have not satisfied our fans, just as in 2006. so maybe by not qualifying, this is a signal for us to improve our game. improve our football so when we do qualify next time, we put on a show for our people."


i searched and coudnt find the youtube link to his quote. but you can find it by watching his last interview with Ferdowsipour on Navad. he says it during the very end, when Ferdowsipour keeps repeating the same stupid question "why did you promise the people we will qualify?" annoying questions like that.
