Exactly, like it has been our poorest season in god knows how many years and we are only 1 point off the 4th spot, (well City have a game in hand against Everton). and we have already beaten Villa and Spurs in the second half of the season. 3 Aqua start, 3 wins

Our fully fit team will be orgasmic, hope we get to play it at least once this season.

City is too good to lose out on fourth place.

I don't know how you can put Riera instead of Benayoun.. also Maxi Rodriguez is a decent player, but ahead of the ever-hard working Kuyt?

            oo really ??

maybe that's why they were totally outplayed by Everton's bench and must have lost 4-0.

and the ref was totally with them against United, not that I complain about it

We have 2 relatively easy games now, and then 3 massive games in a row versus Everton, Arsenal and City

I want a left-footed player on the left side. Riera was excellent last night playing after 3 months. Yossi is good in the hole which is occupied by Gerrard and right which Kuyt will play.

Riera and Insua always play better together. Insua is twice of a player when Riera plays in front of him. Aurelio has better understanding with Yossi.

Maxi and Kuyt will have to battle it for the right space, but we're so unlucky, I am sure someone will be injured, so there won't be any selection dilemmas.

Aquilani was class last night, I would fancy Gerrard going back to CM, and letting Alberto playing just behind Torres by providing killer passes.

we gotta beat Wolves away or our last night's win is worth nothing

              and something else,

13 points outta the possible 18 points in the last 6 games, for a club in crisis

It's a good point that you want a left-footed player on the left-side because Kuyt really doesn't have the pace in the right flank.. However Riera is a player who needs a yard and will cross. He doesn't beat players often like other wingers.. He's more of a crosser a.k.a Downing. I would've thought Benayoun is better because him and Gerrard can change positions and will cause problems for oposition defenders? With Riera you can become too one dimensional?

You also said Riera plays good with Insua, however you put Aurelio in ur line- up :P

                you should beat Wolves..

the thing is, if we play Dirk and Yossi on both flanks, we become very predictable. neither are wide players and both always try to cut inside. while Riera offers us width and crosses. and he has an excellent first touch unlike Kuyt. I haven't seen much of Maxi yet to judge his style. We need to get rid of Babel and replace him with a second hand Striker not a top 1 necessarily, since we play one striker and no one can replace Torres. A striker like C.Cole or Chamakh until Ngog (who was awesome last night) continues his development. and I included Aurelio because he is one of my favorite players, but sadly he will most likely leave us in the summer as his contract runs out and he has refused a pay-as-you-play deal. I wish we keep him so we don't have to spend on a new LB. A striker, A winger should be our priorities in summer transfer window. Our CBs are good enough, they were just in a bad form and low on confidence, but they have stepped it up lately, we have England u-19 intenational CB and also San Jose on loan to Bilbao (he owned Benzema & Kaka last week), RB is more than covered, wings look good, and CM is very good with Gerrard, Masch, Aquilani and Lucas. and we have good players coming from out reserve team (they just conceded 2 goals against City reserves losing 3-2).

Confidence is very important, we had so much confidence last year after our amazing week in March that we smoked any other team after that, now those 2 wins against Villa and Spurs have inspired us hopefully.

ps. it is a good thing to be out of FA Cup, had it not been for FA Cup, SG, FT, n Yossi would have been fit by now.

                    Good points..

It will be interesting who you will get.. Carton Cole is coming back from injury, but you don't want to risk it on him, espcially Torres getting these niggling injuries at times.

You create this thread to bash Liverpool, and now that you are proven wrong, and basically Liverpool has shut your mouth , you come out with " "

shouldn't expect more from fans who have jumped on the wagon and support multiple teams

I can't blame Barca fans though, in La Liga you never see that king of passion and royalty. you never see a real war there, everyone is so soft and uncompetitive. let alone seeing SHEER PASSION of the merseyside clubs.

bunch of tossers most of 'em
