    Lyon V Madrid [R]

Mission: beat Lyon in the knockout stage of UCL and progress to quarter-finals after 6 years.
Plan: spend 200euroes on striking force.
    Result: FAIL

What a super goal by Makoun! I can see Marca's headline after the 2nd leg "Real knocked out - Pelligrini FIRED"

    GRACIAS PEP

Lyon are more than capable of scoring at Bernabeu, which will mean Madrid will need 3 goals to win the tie.. hmmm

ZOMG!!! DAMN REF!!! I TOLD U GUYS CRISTIANA CANT CUT IT!!!

not the worst worst case scenario for Real but definitely not a good one, this is it, potentially 6 seasons not passing the Round of 16, thats awful

man what a story that would be if this los gozlacticos cant even beat lyon and they fail again to go past round of 16 hahaha all that stupid money wasted on players without puttong any thinking in it whether they can complement each other and make a real team instead you have bunch of individuals trying to win a game. It will be fun game the 2nd leg for sur.

Failing to realize there are 2 legs: fail.

Of course as a Madrid fan you're dissapointed, but that's the managements fault. All that matters is that we are going to destroy them at home.

I cant see how Madrid can destroy Lyon even at home. They were tottaly outplayed everytime they played Lyon (you have never beaten Lyon).

i'll just quote what i posted in the united -milan thread:

HAHAHA i wish milad was here. i remember last year when barca got Lyon in CL he was complaining because "barca had a easy way to the next round"
252 million euros. I don't even have any words. This is just pathetic

                          Dissapointment aside.

As a Madrid fan I've watched them for many years. Even playing like shit away from home in a 1st leg is totally different from the 2nd. Ex. 2006 Zaragoza won 6-1 at their home, the 2nd leg we scored 4 goals. If that Real side could come that close, this one will for sure.

All I can say is at least I'm a true fan, and at least I didn't jump the wagon like 90% of all Barca fans in mid 2000's to even now.

Sadly Lyon tends to F up on 2nd legs.
