    Some Notes:
    • Belgium teams have done very well, Brugge game is in progress and if they can score a goal with minutes remaining they will go through over Valencia
    • No Turkish clubs this year, a 85th minute goal for Lille and 90th minute goal for Madrid ended hopes of the games going into ET
    • Panathinaicos scored 3 goals away in 5minutes v.s. Roma (40th,43rd,45th) and 2 goals in 4 minutes in Athens (84th,88th)
    • Reigning champions Shakhtar bow out of the competition to Fulham
    • 7 of the 8 Champions League third place finishers this season have advanced to the next round
    • Claudio Pizarro scored a hattrick against Twente and leads the competition in scoring with 8 goals

seems like the 2 biggest Greek teams will have faced Standard this year, Olympiacos in the CL and PAO in March

Im excited for the Lille - Liverpool matches, I can see it being a fantastic series
