I knew him from Zoub Ahan's youth team not personally just that he was a prospect was pleasantly surprised when I heard he went to US, but he gotta go to a school which doesnt have a record of not introducing a draft candidate.

ya idk if it was a mistake of him goin there or not, he did have offer from maryland which is a really good school....but then again over there he might not have gotten the same amount of playing time and attention

is it common for college students to transfer to another school?? if so, by next year or so he should try for that

if a player transfers from one division I to another he forfeits one year of eligibility and he has to sit out for that one year, so it's not worth it, many times star professional athletes come from the smallest universities because they got more playing time and time to develop their game

Ofcourse if he keeps breaking records it might get him enough publicity for a 2nd at best.

well he already has scouts looking at him. and everyone just loves the fact that he doubles doubles so much in the C-USA. from what he told me i'm thinkin he may transfer to a big team right before his junior year... so get ready! however he is such a big deal here at Rice... he is the superstar of his team.. they PRAISE Arsalan here. Everytime he touches the ball, they get ready for his infamous dunks.

a few things i might add, from actually playing against arsalan and playing with him on his team.

Arsalan is the type of player that mainly, fast teams will be looking for, aka phoenix suns, houston rockets
(he basically has some of the BEST ball control i've seen in a C-USA player, he moves back and fourth like a point guard)

he's not quite 6' 7.. he's actually right in the middle, maybe closer to 6' 8.. which is in a way a big deal (everyone says he's 6' 7, espn, CBS) and as you guys know, he hasn't stopped growing.. i'd say he'll hit 6' 9 by the time he's 21

according to shahouman, its not practical for him to move to a big team...damn but i hope somehow it happens or nba teams consider scouting him

Unless he's that gooz then he could goh, I just don't watch enough college bball to know what I'm talkin about honestly. But also, we don't know if another coach will use him as much as he's being used at Rice and if he'll have the same chemistry with the players at another school if he were to transfer. I say stay there, develop your game and be the standout player. The NBA has many guys who went to smaller schools and stood out there.
