Iran was runner-up in the Freestyle Wrestling World Cup held in Moscow on Sunday.

Iran, which had defeated Azerbaijan, the United States and Uzbekistan respectively in Group B, lost to Russia 5-2 in the final match and came second.

Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and Belarus were in Group A.

i guess 2nd place to russia is not bad at all in freestyle, although we should be winning this as well

We came second in the team event, which is very good. we were first in freestyle in some individual weights but not in the overall as a team. Maybe once or twice, we have come first as a team.
