I don't know how he is rated and therefore can't say if he's overrated, but overall he is not a better player than Nekounam, or like Nakamura was in his prime.

He surely is one of Asia's best players and among the best ever, but he's not on a different level than Javad.

Although such cross-position comparisons are always difficult.

whenever Javad shines on the biggest stage of the world and plays for a top club and performs consistently, then he can claim he is in Park's level or better

park is the best asian player since daei. Nekunam cant be compared cuz they're not the same but neku is all class too, he'd be more noticed if he was in a better team.

- helping United to win the title in 2007
- after a long injury, came back scoring vs. Arsenal
- led United to finals last year with amazing semi performance
- continuously scores against big teams
- took Korea to 2006, and got them a draw vs. France (unlike Karimi who let the team down with his attitude and sulking)
- took Korea to 2010 WC
- the best manager in the world wants to renew his contract


Nakamura
- won Japan the AC in 2004
- led them to 2006 WC
- was voted as Celtics' player of the year
- scored in CL 3 times vs. Man U
- took Japan to AC semis in 2007

he had a few starts, he wasnt the only one who helped us go to WC and 3rd place asian cup, so all in all he really has no real memorable moments or goals for u to remember. His only good game was the hatrick against korea and thats it.

He failed to make an impact in europe, quit after 2 years and still didnt do much for team melli. If he was amazing, he would've taken us to WC again without Daei. Playing good in IPL AND UAE is faaaaaar from amazing.

He had a few moments of flash but in no way he is a player to remember or to talk about.

Park is by far the best asian player of the decade. This guy is pure class. I don't know why you guys think Nekunom, Shojaei, or Karimi are better, they haven't won a thing!
