Well, it's atleast 'ONE' of the biggest derby. The football may not be so pretty, but its committed and honest. Also, fans are really passionate about it.

I watched the game live and it was anything but great. Sometimes you forgot it was such a heated derby. I missed the passion, not only from the players on the pitch but also the fans. And cracking goal?! It was a blunder from the gk!

Also, what's wrong with Gala in the derbies?! They just can't seem to beat Fener anymore, not even at home. When was the last time they won a home game in the derby? I think it's been some years now...

Anyway, I wished it had become a draw, that would have been the best result for Besiktas (my favorite team in Turkey). But it doesn't matter cause we will become the champions again. Bursaspor lost and we won 3-2 in a great game.

Ah btw why didn't Rijkaard start Arda?! Was he injured? Must be cause you just can't bench him.

Also, where was Emre? He said in an interview that he would not miss the derby even with a broken leg.

Good strike, but one has to question the goalkeepers ability. You got to save that

Arda just got fit today, he was injured. And Emre got hurt in Fener's last game and couldn't get fit for today's derby. I agree with you though, game wasn't that good, definatly could have been better. And Gala, all the big names and no results!

Ehm...isn't it always the other way around? Hence, Fener always getting big names with all the money they have but failing to deliver?

Gala's gk got booed every time he got the ball after his blunder.

lol it was. But Fener has slowed down on that recently. Gala has world class stars like Keita, Kewell, Baros, Dos Santos, Jo, Elano, Neil, Turan, Leo Franco and they still fail to bring home trophies.

Give it some time, this is the first byear some of these guys are playing together. Gala's president has said he's not planning to get rid of Rijkaard for a long time, so next year they'll live up to the expectations. I don't think Besiktas will be able to fight for the championship next season, also Bursaspor will fall down most probably. So the title race will be between Gala and Fener again, with perhaps Besiktas giving them a run for their money for a while as well.

Just wait and see the players Fener will get again for next season. They're already talking about Nekounam, which of course will be a very good improvement, but I'm sure they'll attract some more stars with their cash.

Yeah, I do expect Fener to splash a lot of cash this summer. Gala is also bringing some president from Chelsea or something to come help out with their finances and what not. Most likely they will win the title next year and maybe pose a threat in the UCL.

Nekuonam would fit so well into Fener. I really hope we bring him in.
