    Rooney Out for Four Weeks

Wayne Rooney is expected to be out for two to four weeks after spraining his ankle in the closing moments of Manchester United's 2-1 Champions League quarter-final first leg against Bayern Munich.

Rooney turned over on his right ankle in the build-up to Bayern Munich's injury-time goal and the England striker now faces up to a month on the sidelines, though he will face a scan to discover the extent of the injury.
He is certain to miss league matches against Chelsea and Blackburn, as well as the second leg against Bayern Munich at Old Trafford next week.

But depending on Rooney's period of rehabilitation, he could miss the home clash with Spurs, the Manchester derby against Roberto Mancini's Manchester City and both legs of the Champions League semi-final should United overcome their first leg deficit.

Rooney is United's leading goalscorer this season with 34 goals, almost three times as many as second highest scorer Dimitar Berbatov, and Sir Alex Ferguson will now be heavily reliant on the Bulgarian striker to lead United's line - with youngsters Mame Biram Diouf and Federico Macheda the club's only other forward options.

pretty sure he'll comeback after 2 weeks

well, still not too bad, I thought it would be worse.

wouldn't mind him getting fit for the games vs. Man City and Spurs, so United can do us a favor getting the 4th spot :P

^ Seriously I was thinking about that , It pisses me off that At what time he ready had to be injured .

But To be honest I am absolutely confident going to play in Old trafford against bayern but Against Chelsea without ronney its gonna be a different scenario I just hope Berbatov can bring up his A game and step it up for Manchester united because he is the only hope we have right now .

worst timing for man u, now bayern has a chance to pull thru

its also risky for england too, coming back in may and next month is world cup, he wont be 100%

i think bayern now has a legit shot at winning in old trafford. remember, man u loses their best player, and bayern gets back two of their best players for next weeks match

i still think there could be an upset where inter milan beats barca but in all probability it'll be bayern and barcelona final

we need to score 1 goal at old trafford. if we do that, man utd has to score 3 without rooney which is not hard but not impossible given our slow defense line!

that being said, im gonna be veryy optimistic and say this years CL finals, we will beat inter and get our 5th star on our jerseys

                              ^^^

I often get the feeling a lot of Iranians tend to dislike the likes of CRonaldo and Torres just because they are good looking and girls like them.
thus they used being bache nana, cry baby, or gay as an excuse to dislike them.

also Fabregas out for the season
