lol chill, Messi is not near to Maradona yet. First he has to show something on a WC. Maradona basically single handedly brought Argentina the WC title in 1986. skills and what you do with hem are 2 different things. If you can use your slkills in the WC where you are playing with players who are essentially playing with you on the same team for a few games year only shows your true color. Now they are both argentine players and both played for Barca so you know I am not being biased here (actually I like germany) but maradona had more control over his team and himself. Having said that, Messi TODAY is a top 3 player alltime in terms of skills set IMO so I am not putting him down

Maradona was on anothr level. Messi is almost there, and will probably overtake him if he'd continue like this, but he's not there yet! Messi is not even near Cruijff. Yes I said it!
