Not really.
Not many teams create many chances vs Barcelona because they keep the ball very well. They have most of possession in all the games. Valdes still has the vulnerability, espieically in coming out to deal with crosses. He's handling is not very great, even though last night, he was relatively untroubled and done what was required.
Remember Walcotts goal two weeks ago at Emirates? It went under his arm. I don't rate him the best goalkeeper in the world AT ALL

he should obviously be in the spain squad for the wc, i think he should start.
in the WC pique and puyol will start and i think valdes is knows them better than casillas does, he will know wen to come out wen to stay in net etc. since they know each other.

yeah, he should start as well. i dont think its gonna happen though, unfortunately. casillas is the captain, pepe reine is the sub, and valdes hasnt been called on the team either. to even jump into the starting 11 would be huge.

Just saw that Alonso's header chance in 1st half was offside too so the only good chance Madrid had was the 1on1 chance of Van der Vaart HAHA
