Playoffs are about the "inside" game.. If Bynum is healthy , with Artez, Gasol and Odom, they will be very tough inside.. ultimately the inside guys are the ones that win championships..

as someone who has been watching NBA playoffs actively since 1992 Bulls vs Cavs series, let me tell you NBA playoffs has to do with two things: Matchups and defense.

A series is all about matchups and within that matchup its all about defense and offensive team NEVER wins a best of 7 game series. Look at the Nash led suns with their run and gun style. They had the best record but didn't even make it to the finals even once

I'm expecting either a Dallas vs. Cavs final or Lakers vs. Cavs final.

I agree, although I'd put the Eastern Conference finalist as 50/50 between the Cavs and Orlando.

nice how lebron shut down the Bulls last night. They talked BS to him the whole time their bench. He teached them a lesson.

It is official Joakim Noah is my second favourite NBA player. That boy can PLAY and I love his ****y attitude.
Watch his post game press conference for game two .
Reporter:"Do you regret what you said about Cleveland?"
                  Noah: "No."
                  Long Pause
Noah: "You think cleveland is cool ? who has ever phoned you and said their heading to cleveland for the holidays ? "

                  Something along those lines

you are correct about both "Match ups" and "Defense", and what I was saying is that , better match up and better defense wins you championship if you have those two things , on the "inside" (the paint).

So when they say a team has the better match up or better defense, that's because they are better at it in the paint.. better match up or a good defense on the perimeter isn't going to win you any titles, although you could make a series interesting from time to time (Dallas, Denver..etc)

I thought Artest would own Durant, but he didn't, Durant just missed shots he normally makes. Watch Durant make 30+ points today and keep this game close against the Lakers.

I know Durant this guy made me money in the regular season, look out for a couple 30-40 footers.

So it must've been pure luck and coincidence that Durant had the most dismal shooting day he's had in ages. Never mind the fact that a former Defensive Player of the Year was guarding him the whole time, I'm sure that didn't equate into the final numbers at all. Give credit where credit is due.

it will be between nuggets/lakers in the west and cavs/orlando for the east conference. as long as the cavs don't win the whole thing i'll be happy and even more happy if the nuggets win this year but yeah it won't happen

Not taking any credit away from Artest, but Durant wasn't hitting the shots he usually does in the same situation.

By the way I predicted he score 30+ the 2nd meeting, guess what, he did. Lakers will win the series but Durant is a future phenomenon not even Artest can slow down.

correct me if im wrong but out of the 16 teams in playoffs only lakers, celtics, spurs, miami and bulls have won championships......so 11 of them have never won a championship
