been watching this movie for 14 years now but it never gets old.

It was fun to see how a slower and older Kobe used his ridiculously superior skillsto score on younger, faster and more athletic players. Lebron should have watched the game to learn a thing or two about bball "skills" so when his ridiculously superior athletic abilities eventually diminish, he could take over games with skills instead

and by the way congrats to Lebron for winning the MVP. It was welld eserved but what I really wanna know is who are the 3 airheads who voted for D Howard ?

Lebron looks on pace to achieving as many MVP's as his form can sustain him, but you gotta figure someone like D.Howard or Durant is bound to sneak an MVP away

I'm excited to see the All-NBA's even if these awards usually warrant a great emphasis on reputation (cough All-Defence teams)

Definatly deserved MVP and most likely if he dont get injured he will earn a few more.

I have no problem Lebron winning championships. I like him as a player. I just wish he would do it with no shaq on the team!! Now the rest of the guys are gonna win him a championship just like wade and co did and he is the one who is gonna gloat!:bs:

as for selfishness and that tag on Kobe, that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard and true NBA fans with no bias know that too. If he has quality players he will pass when he appropriate. Part of Kobe's game is that ruthless offensive players that keeps the opposition on their toes by attacking the basket nonstop. There is no way he would have won 4 championships by playing selfish bball.

lets check out this stat: He is 55th ALLTIME in the NBA in assists. Now at a glance 55th is too low but imagine ALL the NBA players over the past 60 years and all the great point guards so it actually is a very high number given he is a shooting guard and he is not even done yet! Plus the only active players ahead of him in the assist catagory are: kidd, nash, andre miller, cassell, iverson , B diddy, mike bibby and billups. all of those players are "point guards" That makes Kobe the top nonpoint guard career assist man in the league! By the time its all said and done he should be in the top 25 which would be a huge achievement given he is not a PG

Glad this series is over!! Th thunder were a very bad matchup for the lakers but as I read this in woj article:

The game would not have been even that close if it weren't for Kobe. didnt you see the highlights? plus all the reporters and game reports are saying everyone was caught watching instead of playing. Only one player in the NBA has that effect on the opposing players while shooting in the last second cuz when he has the ball that late, people piss their pants!

Like I said, Celtics have been heavily underestimated. And I guarantee Kobe and the Lakers would get a lot more satisfaction beating Pierce and company in the finals than they would beating Lebron's Cavs right now.

due to matchup problems I dont think the lakers can beat the cavs (lack of homecourt too) but they can take care of the magic and the celts.

btw, losing by 18 at home!!!???? that was nasty but if the cavs make it through, that will just help them the same way lakers losses last year and the two 7 game series for the celts the year before that helped those teams
