yes, the big games are important, Barca beat Madrid home and away, but the league is won on the whole year basis.

Last year, Liverpool done the double over United, yet we won the league by four points. Few years ago, West Ham done the double over United, but United won the league, and West Ham just scraped relegation. There's many examples..

If Real Madrid win the league, then they will be remembered as 2009/2010 LA Liga Champions. No-one is going to remember the 'double' win if Madrid get the league title.

good comeback by wigan. but lets face it these happen in every single league, for example in la liga valencia(3rd place like arsenal) go on and lose 3-0 to zaragoza. wigan have beaten chelsea, liverpool at home before this season.

Is there a team in La Liga like Everton? Everton beat Chelsea and United at home. Is there a team in Liga that has beaten both Barca and Madrid at Evertons level in the table? nope.

EPL is much more unpredictable and competitive than La Liga. Even Serie A is more competitive than La Liga. I love watching Spain but some people need to realize the EPL can't be compared much to other leagues right now.
