Ok so PBookie is now ready for action. Backed by PFDC's version of FDIC (lets just call it PFDIC 
) your bets are 100% guaranteed by the central bank of PFDC to be paid when you win. PBookie is the manual version of vbookie that has been down for over a year. We all have too much gold that we don't know what to do with. Well, now there is something to do This is how it works:
1) In the second post of the thread, I post the odds for each game. When putting up new odds, I will edit this second post each time there is a new game to bet on so keep checking the second post.
2) The odds are taken from this website: http://www.sportsbetting.com
3) This thread is only for Football (soccer) betting. Underlahaf and I wanted to spice up the WC by doing this and we are starting this by using the UEFA CL as practice!
4) Betting:
a)you deposit your gold into my account. Gold number has to be rounded to the nearest 100th, i.e. 25,100
b) you make a post on this thread stating the amount of your bet. YOU MUST DONATE THE GOLD BEFORE POSTING YOUR BET AMOUNT ON THE THREAD AND THE NUMBERS HAVE TO MATCH, IF THEY DON'T I WILL RETURN THE GOLD TO YOU AND YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO PLACE ANYMORE BETS IN THE FUTURE. SO BE VERY CAREFUL!
c) You CAN'T place a bet for 2 different outcomes on the same
game. Please don't edit a post to change the amount you have already deposited into the account.
d) You cannot place 2 separate bets for the same games. What I
mean is that you can't bet 100000 gold on Barca and then
come back 3 hours later and bet another 30000. It all has to
be at ONCE on ONE outcome only.
e) The latest you can place a bet is before all the way up to one
hour before the game.
d) Once the game is over I will return your winnings as soon as I
can (in most cases within 24 hours).
5) The following is from the website make sure you read and understand it:
let's say the team you want to bet on is offered at 4.00. That means that for every $1 you bet on them, you get back $4 if they win. This would give you a profit of $3 plus your $1 stake returned. If you lose, you lose your $1. If the team is offered at 1.60 and you win, you only make $0.60 profit on your $1 stake and you get your $1 stake back.
6) 2 questions that you might have: The first is, Are we betting against PB?
the answer is NO! I am just the agent. I will place best just like the
rest of you. The second is what if the game goes to overtime? Th answer
is the lines are for regulation only. There might be new rules so I will post any changes to these rules. I will make new posts to bring it to your attention should there be any changes here. Good luck betting and now its time to put your gold where your mouth is!
