and come 2-0 HT, and then the team collapsed. when United brought Tevez on, Harry should have made a tactical change to nullify Fergie's sub.

I know Webb's decision making played a big role (no surprise there, Howard Webb @ Old Trafford :rolleyes), but Tottenham didn't even attempt to control the game, it was as they lost their confidence after United pulled one back.

and also I remember a few years ago, Spurs were 3-0 ahead of United @ HT, then conceded 5.

in Carling Cup this year, United reserve team beat Spurs. I don't get it man. like Tottenham can be in form of their lives, but whenever they face United they'll collapse. and it happens every year.

I hope it's not the case on saturday (with Liverpool not getting 4th spot, I want Spurs to get it)
Again, how is that harry's fault? We didnt have anyone who could have covered tevez that day. Who would you have broughten on, chimbonda?

While the criticsm of harry not having a good plan b is valid, the players that we had out there that day simply couldnt handle man united's speed. Corluka was ran ragged; he is much better now in terms of knowing how to use his body to defend. That and the fact that we had darren bent playing upfront on his own. While he has had a good season for sunderland, he isnt a good enough player for the top of the premier league. He missed a huge chance that day.

I personally would be happy for a draw this upcoming saturday. The lineup i see redknapp playing is:

    ---------------------Gomes--------------------
    -Kaboul--------Dawson--------Bassong---BAE---
    ------------------Huddlestone------------------
    --Bentley----------Modric-----------Bale--------
    ----------------Pav-----Defoe-------------------
The obscure we see eventually. The completely obvious, it seems, takes longer. ~Edward R. Murrow

The 3-0 lead they had on us at White Hart Lane was like 2002, when we had Beckham,Van Nistelrooy, Veron, and we came back and won 3-5. Great match.

elnino, It wouldn't make sense if Rafa rests players AFTER the second leg? If it was BEFORE the second leg, then yeah.. but lets say, u get out of Europa League infront of your own home fans, the fans would demand a reaction vs Chelsea the next game.. or if you beat A.Madrid, then fans want the same performance

YNWA for the chelsea game =)

Also, I know Chelsea are missing players like Essien,Terry,Mikel , and doubts over Drogba, they should have enough ability to beat Stoke.. however it will be tight.
