          Liverpool would be retarded to purposely lose this game. Wouldn't it make more sense to win it to improve the quality of football they play next season so they even have a chance of winning another title?

          Surprised Liverpool fans would even debate this, it's pretty low if you think you should lose because of some lame record that won't help you in the future.

            Record means nothing anymore, if united don't go past liverpool in cl wins this season, they will next season, or the season after that. so they should try to win
