they don't give a fu*k about iran, there are 100s of them investing their money in Dubai & Doha instead of home.
On the other hand our regime wants us to stay like this.

Just hope the new generation can make a deference.

i dont want qatar to host the games because they just really could care less about sports, it seems they just want to show their "wealth" and i do admit some of those stadiums do look cool (well i only saw two..as i also did stop watching when it said arabian gulf lol) but can you imagine qatar..a first seed at the 2022 WC they certainly seem to have the resources but id rather see australia host it

Now watch everyone support Qatars bid for the WC.

Why would any filthy rich Iranian invest in such capital if in return they make nothing?

qatari clubs who cant even fill their already existing 15000er stadiums?

my question was what they are planning to do with these 60000er stadiums.

even japan and korea had problems with utilizing their stadiums after the wc

I only hope FIFA does the same as the IOC does, checking a bidder.
one of the most important question they ask is what they planning to do with the facilities afterwards.

No but come on guys seriously, Qatar? They've never made a WC. Never been close to making one

That has to play a key role in FIFA's decision making.

It would be so sad that the first WC they make will be because they qualify automatically as hosts

I think what kaveh means, is that for the fans to watch, would it be so memorable? as in, the hosts better be good.. germany went in the semis of 06, u saw what Korea did in 2002.. can Qatar even qualify from their group?
I've learnt it's not what you have in your life, but who you have in your life that counts

Of course they can't. They can't even qualify for the World Cup no matter how many Brazilians they give qatari citizenship or how many refs they saudi. They suck.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

                          Agree,

Mate don't defend arabs or even say anything nice about them otherwise your rep bet will go red like mine, if you don't care (like me) then bureckalla, keep on saying what's on your mind, we're not in Afghanistan.

Great stadiums, amazing country, surely the quality of football will be amazing. If south korea made the semis then Qatar can make it out of their group (by help of refs of course ).

I know its difficult to say anything positive about Arabs here, but Its my opinion and I dont care abouts reps.

I did read the next line before I replied. However, it failed to convey how the money would make the WC memorable.

Especially, when you bear in mind that only 31 teams would be effectively competing, as several members have already established in this thread that Qatar's automatic spot will be a waste of a precious allocation (given to a team that won't be competing in a footballing sense).

                                Good one mate.
Qatar is amazing, I just came back from there 5 weeks ago & it looks better & better every time I go. I tell you what, half these numpties will change their mind when they see the support iran will get in january.

Don't worry about the reps, its all bullshit, some guys are pure ck(ks but they have more rep than Ahmadi Najads fake votes
