can never forgive him for all those sitter and 1 vs 1s he missed against Fulham & West Ham @ Anfield and Aston Villa away which would have won us the title.

also baffled @ Rafa and the fact that he didn't bring him on when we were 2-2 with Hull @ Anfield and needed a third.

still can't believe how shitty all our transfers in summer of 2008 were and yet we managed to do so well in EPL, only if we got at least one of those transfers right...

btw he's going to flop when he moves to a big euro club, just like alfonso alves and huntelaar
you think so? why? I thought he would be able to go to a big club and keep up his goal scoring form.

the case is still open for Huntelaar, as for Afonso and guys like Kezman, goals in the Dutch league clearly doesnt translate very well in other leagues

Suarez may be a different case, but he sure does like to flop lol

Di Natale is the best scorer out of all these players....

not cuz im an italy fan BUT because he is the ONLY ONE that plays in a shit team and still scored that much, the rest of the players in each league are all in good teams

ekbatan, some sort of bias there?? Darren Bent 24 league goals for Sunderland who finished 10th! Sunderland scored 48 this year, and he scored 24 of it! Thats a top goalscorer.

True. Afonso eventually ended up in Qatar after his spell at Middlesborough

well, Premiership is tougher than serie A, and Darren Bent goals have come vs Chelsea,Arsenal,Manchester United, Tottenham etc... He has scored important goals, and for your information, he is 3rd and has scored more than Tevez,Berbatov,Adebayor,Torres... Only Rooney(26) and Drogba(29) has scored more.

yea the guys that score that many goals in a weaker team deserve a lot of credit but Messi rules them all.

                        GRACIAS PEP

defensive wise i think the 2 leagues are the same, if not serie A is tougher, and di natale assists alot too, he's not just goals, he's responsible for success of players such as amauri and iaquinta too in udinese years b4, that is why they got picked up by Juventus, but now they're not that good. I havent followed bent that closely but i see his goals every weekend so if he's like di natale like that then ok no argument

You guys are forgetting one very important factor and that is the standard of the referees. It was recently proven by World Soccer Magazine that the referees in Italy are far more strict than the referees in England, and that this had become evident in European cup games between Italian and English teams the past few years, being one of many reasons why many Italian teams were eliminated early on in the tournaments. You are allowed to be more physical in the PL (which is a good thing in my opinion) as opposed to Serie A.

Maybe with this logic it is easier to score goals in England, because you are allowed to do more (as a striker/midfielder) or reversely, it is more difficult to score goals in England because the defenders are allowed to be more physical in their defending.

I personally think that it is uninteresting to say which league is the most difficult to score in etc. Scoring the goals is the important thing, regardless of where it takes place. Henrik Larsson was awarded with the Golden Boot in the early 2000s for scoring a massive amount of goals in the Scottish league. People laughed at him and said that it was easy scoring goals in the Scottish Premier League. They laughed until he went to Barcelona, scored goals there and contributed heavily to their Champions League final victory over Arsenal back in 2006. He also proved in Manchester United (despite a very short spell) and in the Swedish national team that he is a great goalscorer.

In other words, it doesn't matter where the goals are made. The winner still takes it all .
