Series now tied 3-3, seems like another come back from 3-1 down to win another great NHL team in the playoffs. This Montreal team so reminds me of the 1993 Montreal team!

LOOOOOOOOOL You LA fans should talk! How bout gretzky's slash/high stick against doug gilmour of the leafs in the conference finals? Gretzky should have gotten at least a 4 minute penalty and probably been thrown out of the game! Count your blessings that you even got that far.

Brian Burke is the smartest guy in the hockey. Instead of overspending on shit players he is slowly building a base that will compete for years. You guys are still one or two more years from being good enough to go deep in the playoffs but youll get there eventually.

WTH is wrong with you? why would you call all Montreal fans douche bags? I for one have always been a Montreal fan ever since I started watching the NHL! what kind of attitude is that? Plus everyone is free to cheer for whatever team they wish, is that bothering you?

sorry my dear friend, i think you mis understood me, i was refering to people who usually cheer for the leafs when they play well.. but now have jumped ship and are cheering for the leafs biggest rival MTL

i have nothing but respect for MTL and its fans, you are a great franchise 10x better then tor but i grew up a leaf fan and will never ever change

none of the series were even close and the kings were scoring like 6-8 goals a game! It wouldn't have mattered!

                      from wiki:

" and many fans, including CBC's Don Cherry, were hoping for an all-Canadian final as the Montreal Canadiens already advanced. However, during overtime of game six, Gretzky high-sticked Gilmour, drawing blood, without being assessed a penalty by the referee, Kerry Fraser, and then scored the winning goal moments later to stave off elimination."

I would say that matters quite a bit.

LOL, no problem ad sorry for the misunderstanding. I like Leafs as well, especially those days when Matt Sundin was a player to watch!

First period of Penguin vs. Montreal just ended and Montreal is up 2-0 this is just way tooooo sexy!

Montreal today was just unstoppable and their winning spirit was just too strong for Pittsburgh Penguins to stop. Wow after almost 2 decades Montreal is once again in the Eastern conference finals, how frisky is that?

Guys I am having the best time of My life right now , The stadium was open today for fans to go and watch the game at centre bell with big screen tv's the tickets were sold out in less then 1h , And Ive manged to get myself tickets with 15others of my friends . THE STADIUM WAS CRAAAAAAAAZY it was about to exploded it was just like we were playing at home . What a sweet win by the Canadians we demolished the best 2 teams of the nhl .

All the players played hard and defending like if it was their last game . Great performance by moeen and what a goal he scored and cammalleri becoming the top scorer in the playoff , lets not forget Halak We just incredible .

Downtown Montreal was packed but the cops were a bit more organized the the other times so people couldn't do any riot like they did the previous times but people still managed to get 23cops injured and break into foot looker and couple of other stores and the liquid store and steal everything .

I'm sorry but no way in hell were the Penguins and the Caps the two best teams in the NHL THIS YEAR, the way the playoffs have turned out in the East is proof of that. The east is way weaker than the West and the two best teams in the NHL are meeting in the Western Conference Finals this weekend. Even if the canadiens get past Boston/Phil, they will get demolished by either the Sharks or Hawks who have rosters that are rife with talent, star power, speed and depth.
