looooooooooooool!! I literally hate John Hollinger. I have no idea what college gave him a degree. I have criticized him on espn and even sent him a note as a colleague pointing out the flaws of his PER system which "statistically" is very biased! The rest of the ESPN guys don't know shyt about stats which is why the blindly follow the guy.
This is not fantasy, its not just all about numbers. You have to consider other factors like "heart", something Kobe has and Queen James doesn't. There are many other factors too. But he is always suckin queen james's c... and he never has a good excuse when the guy goes MIA!

I think he is 90% gone at this point based upon how the CAVS bowed out and his press conference afterwards.

And PB I have to say that Lebron has really failed to impress me the past two years in the playoffs. There just seems to be something missing in the intangible department with him and he has a serious problem when it comes to having a go to move/game when things aren't clicking for him. He looked confused out there which is incredible for a player of his caliber who likes to be called the Closer according to his comments earlier in the playoffs. With all that being said I would be suitably excited if he joined Chicago with Drose and Noah (which seems to be a fairly likely event at this point according to reports and how easily he would fit in with the Bulls as is). But he needs to be more consistent in the playoffs if he wants to overtake Kobe, much less Jordan, as a player and leader.

And Hollinger is a moron, I completely agree, anyone with any basic knowledge of statistics knows that his PER crap is just a made up subjective assessment and not a definitive evaluating tool (like he makes it out to be).

Lebron traded to Chicago for Deng in a sign and trade. Then Chicago signs Wade with the rest of the cap money, with Calipari coming in to coach.

Good times to be a Chicago fan.

Good times to be a Chicago fan.

That would be a dream scenario but I doubt that particular one will play out like that. Most likely if Lebron comes to Chicago, Cleveland will be very loathe to help him out with a sign and trade (especially for an overpayed SF like Deng). And Wade surprisingly has repeatedly stated that he really doesn't want to leave Miami (especially with the ugly divorce he is going through now, Chicago is likely the last place he wants to be-his ex resides there now).

Most likely they sign Lebron as a FA (which according to all legit sources close to Lebron is his #1 choice if he leaves Cleveland right now). In fact it is reputed that Lebron called DRose just a short time ago to discuss at length the possibility of joining him in Chitown, which in all honesty is his best option in terms of winning right away and for the next 5-7 years with Rose being 21, Noah 25, Lebron 25, Taj 24, JJ 21, Deng 26, Hinrich 29.

Now Chicago can do two things, they can trade Hinrich and Deng (one or both) in a sign or trade to get Bosh, Amare, Boozer or Joe Johnson depending on who they and Lebron think is the best fit, or they can stand pat and go after some outside shooters like Ray Allen, Anthony Morrow(RFA), Azuibuike (trade needed here) who can all be had for the MLE.

The key is for the Bulls to get Lebron which I think they will, which would give them a very scary trio of Rose at PG, Bron at SF and Noah at C for an extended run. All three of those guys are getting better and they would be perfect compliments to each other with Rose and Lebron shouldering the offensive load and Noah doing all the dirty work and then some on the boards. Chicago was already a top 5 defensive team this year before injuries decimated them in March, so imagine adding Lebron to that mix. In essence they would be recreating the formula of the 90's with a little twist. One thing is for sure, both Rose and Noah are playoff tested and both have shown themselves to be prime time players. You certainly can't double both Rose and Lebron, and guys like Deng and Hinrich thrive as 3rd and 4th options. If this scenario plays out then you will start seeing some epic Eastern COnference playoffs again with Chicago, Orlando and Boston.

One thing is for sure If Lebron goes to Chicago then he a) shows that he cares about winning right away (neither Cleveland-aging cast that are playoff chokers, NJ nor NY offer him that) and b) he can't use the poor teammates argument anymore cause Drose is an all-star that is slowly becoming a superstar and Noah is already playing at an All-star level and improving. Apparently he has also stated that he doesn't mind playing in Jordan's shadow in Chicago, so I really don't see why he would want to go anywhere else at this time.

I would like to see that Lebron at Chicago. D-Rose is one of the best PGs in the League.
Noah is a good Center. If they trade Hinrich and Deng to get Boosh or Amare this team will be a contender for the next 5-7 years without changes.
