ستایش رسانه های دولتی و دعوت صدا و سیما از یک ورزشکار زن که با پوشش رایج تنیس حرفه ای در رقابت های بین المللی حضور می یابد، در نوع خود بی سابقه بوده است.

در جریان انتخابات ریاست جمهوری سال گذشته ارغوان رضایی دو راکت به محمود احمدی نژاد اهدا کرده بود که با انتقادهای زیادی مواجه شد.

آقای رضایی در عین حال تاکید می کند: دخترم وارد سیاست نمیشود. ارغوان از بچگی نه جشن تولد داشته و نه تعطیلات. او همیشه در ورزش بوده و فقط ورزش کرده است.
