Is Mourinho the Best Football Coach, ever?

    Unbeaten Home Record

"As of May 9 2010, Mourinho is on a run of 136 home league matches unbeaten: 38 (W36–D2) with Porto, 60 (W46–D14) with Chelsea and 38 (W29–D9) with Internazionale.

His last and only home league defeat came when Porto were defeated 3–2 by Beira-Mar on 23 February 2002."

    Porto
    Everything domestic, and CL

    Chelsea
Everything domestic, missed CL by freak goal

    Inter
    Everything domestic, and CL

He's now going to Madrid, will he win the World Cup with them?

The man is extremely inteligent. Amazingly enough, the Italian never liked him. He's surely on his way to Real Madrid and he'll do well at Santiago Bernabeu.

This guy is a Winner with a capital 'W'. He really motivates his players around him, and in every team he's been to, the players adore him. You can see, there's a speical bond with the players. In Porto, the likes of Carvalho and Deco were very close to Mourinho, with Chelsea , Lampard and Terry etc, and with Inter - Zanetti.

One thing, I admire from this person, is that he makes the players adapt to his tactics. Eto'o is NO WAY a right-winger, but he probably told him ' look, i need you to do a shift for me' , and Eto'o done it. I'm sure Eto'o wouldn't mind, it's a team game after all. Thats why in the Champions League run-in, Eto'o hasn't got much praise, but for me, he got the crucial goal vs Chelsea that killed it off, and he's helped Maicon alot in defending. He's also been the 'extra' body back to cause difficulty for other teams to break Inter down.

When your in Mourinho's side, you will hardly concede many goals. He is so disclipined and clever.

Real Madrid would be a great club for him to go to, one thing he would do, will be to cut down the egos there, and make them a team work team.

Mourinho - Truly the speical one.

He is really one of the Best Coaches ever. He will win the CL probably another 3-4 times cause he is so young.
Its really impressive how intelligent he is. I think he will made a Team out of Real Madrid but it took time.

            but not the most entertaining.

in the semi 2nd leg my cousin was online and referring to inters defensive play he said: 300 ra didi? iy 500 deshe lol

              NO

I regard Fabio Cappello, Giovanni Trapattoni, Marcello Lippi, Udo Latek, Adesor Vafaseya, Louis Cesrar Menotti, much more higher than him.

Trapattoni won more titles (as a coach) than him, but its not about the amount of titles...

mourinhos football style is more smart than attractive and im not sure if that is welcomed at real madrid.
it reminds me of poor del bosque and even capello to an extent...

however, mourinho is smarter and a unique character, he may turn out to be a huge success or a huge failure.
afterall, the bigger u r, the more the expectations from u. jose mourinho is considered by many to be the best, and real madrids squad is considered to be one of the best, and if madrid still fails, its gonna be a huge blow to mourinho specially with his compact and defensive game play style.. but if he wins specially the CL, he will be a messiah for rescuing madrid from CL misery, just like he did to inter!

its a big risk with a lot to win and/or lose!

not yet, but he has the time and potential to smash all the records and put his name up there with the very bests ever.

likes of Busby, Shankly, Ferguson, Capello, Trappatoni, Paisly, Hitzfeld etc...

if he wins 2 more CLs, he'll beat Paisly's record which has been untouched by likes of Ferguson (after 24 years in charge), and ancelotti came close to it, but has only won it twice.

not yet, but I can see him cementing his name as one of the bests ever

His teams seem to play the most boring football on the planet. Technical and clever ? Yes ,but football is a game where both teams go for each others heads in every possession. That's the beauty of the game. I can put 11 players behind the ball on every opposite possession and boast about how my team wins games . He is a good coach ,but his tactics are boring and ruining the game as we know it

Inter outscored Barcelona to eliminate them... 3-2

They beat Chelsea 1-0 in London... 3-1 on aggregate

The top 2 teams in the World, outscored by Inter.

A big part of football is defensive football especially at the highest levels. What I see is a team who fought for each other and played solid, they didn't have Messi and Ronaldo upfront to do a hundred step overs, but they know how to play vs the best teams. How is he ruining football? If you don't like his style don't watch, just watch the trophies he wins.
