    Anyone watching the French Open?

Anyone a tennis fan, or am I the only one here?

It's a pity Murray's game has to be continued tommorow. He looked on course to win the game.

Living @ Britian, of course would like to see Murray winning, but i would fancy Federrer and Nadal to battle it out on the fronts. Nadal is favourite because of his quality in clay surface.

Murray is such an overrated prat, the british media talk him up so much. Ugh, I hate everything he stands for. I HATE watching him play, because the commentary is so biased. Sometimes i even go so far as to find a foreign stream, just so i dont have to listen to the BBC's bull$h!t... it's ridiculous!

I LOVE NADAL!!!!! ASDFJASLDJFALSKDJFAKLSJDFAKLSDJF MY BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY I just wanna give him a big hug.

    And. Yknow. Maybe more

He's not overrated. He went to Wimbledon semi-final last year, and lost to Roddick who played his best game in his career. Murray has been dealt with injuries this year, and has had a difficult spell. He is quality and is still young. Don't hate the Brits ! I love BBC and it's commentary! It is 'BRITISH' brodcasting channel. obviously, some biasness is there, and they will be excited when murray wins a game.

I wonder why you love Nadal . Is it because of his actual game or looks? Seriously, can't tell with girls and their affection with sports.

Right. FIRST OF ALL. Let's get one thing straight. I DO NOT appreciate the part of your post that i bolded. I am just as well-informed about the various sports i follow, ranging from football to boxing, tennis and F1, as you are. If not more. So DO NOT patronise me with ''cant tell with girls and their affections'', because I am just as capable of appreciating sport for the spectacle that it is as you are. DO NOT generalise. That is incredibly unfair.

Cool, so now I've got that off my chest.

I love nadal because he played in the first tennis match i ever watched, and i remember admiring his work rate, his passion, his determination and how he NEVER let a point go if he could help it. He would literally chase EVERY ball, even if it was a blatant lost cause (although, he's smarter and conserves his energy better nowadays). That's why I love Nadal, and he's my favourite tennis player: he was the first I watched. The fact that he's incredibly hot and spanish is something I discovered muchhhh later. He was very much an odd-looking teenager/young adult when I first liked him.

Also. Murray is synonymous with overrated. The man plays LUDICROUS matches. He has had IMMENSE luck getting to semi's etc. And until i see him really perform, I wont change my mind.
Lol, I dont care about BBC being british. If they're gonna want to be considered a serious sports broadcaster, they cant say things like ''oh well murray was injured, it's understandable'', then say something like ''well, despite <insert name> having to pull out due to injury when he's one set ahead, we all know murray would have won''.

        BULLLLLL

I apologise, it was a generalisation, but still applies to many people, maybe not you :P

Nadal is no way the same level as Federrer yet. tbh, Nadal is quite young, and has a future in him, however he seems to get injured frequently these years.

Murray - immense luck? Come on. Give credit when it's due. If he underperforms, you will blame him. If he goes semis, you say its luck? Hows that FAIR? He went into the Australian Open Final and lost to Federrer. He went into US open final in 2008, and lost to Federrer (whos argubably the greatest tennis player of all time).

So, someone who has been into two GRAND-SLAM Finals and lost to a GREAT player is considered as 'overrated' ?? He also went to the semis in Wimbledon. Furthermore, in 2008, he reached the Semi-Finals of the Tour Finals[where the top 8 tennis players compete]

He's only 23, and I will give it two-three years for him to win a Grand-Slam, because now he has the expereince of playing in a final. He also is number 4 in the rankings..

          still overrated?

            It's the same repetitive injury.
Also, how can you claim that Federer and Nadal are not on the same level? Have you SEEN their head to head record? Ima let you in on it: Nadal >>>> Federer.

Yes, he is overrated. It's like saying ''gold is the answer to all the world's problems''. Yes, gold is good. But not THAT good.

Yes, Murray is good. But not as good as the british media makes out. And with regards to your sources, he had luck on his side in EVERY ONE of those runs. Sorry, but it's the truth. He's such a *****.

              Head-to-Head records - Nadal wins
              Tournaments - Federrer wins.

However, Nadal is much more younger, and has time to turn it around. Currently, Federrer has won every grandslam and is the best tennis player to ever grace the world.

Sorry, he can't be lucky in four or five tournaments man. Also, the 14 masters title that he won.. even though they are not major achievements, they are still winning things. He is good, not that GREAT, but still got huge potential.

              He is not overrated

You didnt read my gold analogy. Read it, contemplate it, then you'll understand.
I repeat. Murray is good. But he is not as good as the british media makes out (which is understandable: they are british, he is british, the whole thing is a recipe for disaster). Since the british media say he is better than he really is, by DEFINITION, Murray is overrated. He always will be. Even when he wins every grand slam there is. Because then, the british media will rate him EVEN MORE. Lemme draw a diagram.

                -----X

                -----Y

                -----Z

Z represents murray's current level. Y represents the level that the british media rates him as. This means he is overrated. Now, when murray DOES actually move to level Y, the predictable british media will rate him at X. Again, he is overrated. And he always will be.It's not even his fault. It's the British media's fault.

What the British media says does not determine whether he's actually overrated or not. They mare big him up and be bias, but he is certainly not overrated in Tennis within the world of tennis.

I'm sticking to my opinion, beleive what you want.

Arvane Rezaei lost to some Russian 7-6, 4-6,8-10. She had 3 match points and played really well. She's improving and has a bright future.

                            Nadal playing Hewlett now.
