1982, Kuwaitis saudi themselves a disallowed goal

Khak to sare in davar for taking back the legit goal after the arab guy's interference...

I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

The opponent scores a goal against Kuwait. The Kuwaiti players thought they heard the ref blow his whistle before the goal, but it was actually a fan's whistle in the crowd. They complain about the goal. The head of the Kuwaiti FA comes down onto the field and threatens to pull the team. The goal is disallowed.

It should also be noted that the Bank of Kuwait was one of the major sponsor of the World Cup that year.

Yeah, i've seen this before .Quite ridiculous.

Also, all these whistles and sounds that are similar to referees whistle should be taken away.

Kuwait were quite good at the 80's. They went to the finals in 1976, but lost to Iran 0-1 in the final and therefore came runners up. Four years later, they won the Asian cup beating S.Korea 3-0. Four years later, in 1984, they went to the semis but lost, and came third.

Ever since after the 80's, they haven't been that successful. They went to the 1/4 finals in 2000, but we will see how they will do in 2011, but I would not expect too much from them.

Sorry for that off-topic, but going back to the topic, I am surprised that the referee gave a 'drop-ball' ??

LOL it looked so dramatic with the angry arab coming down, probably threatening to pleadge a jihad against the referee.
