thats good. imagine how much bullshit it would be if in this world cup hosted in south africa they are not allowed vuvuzelas. Yes they are annoying but it would be absolutely disgraceful if they were banned in this tornament, UNLESS it seriosuly harms the health of suporters or the players or affects thier game hugely. Yes they someitmes cant hear thw whislte or their goalys but thats not enough to ban them.

Please enlighten me if I am wrong, but I do not think any African team had a home advantage this time.

What I mean is those vuvuzelas, the sound is always the same no matter what team is playing. The players are not able to hear any chants; they don’t really "feel" their fans.
For example in Azadi people chant things like "X sarvare Y" or "Iran chikaresh mikone" ...etc. This is how you support your team and often that motivates the players.

But now in the world cup each team has to hear the same sound as always: bffffffffffffffffffff in every match, 90 minutes only bfffffffffffffffffffff. It does not make any difference.

So it is not only annoying but also hurts the home advantage in my opinion and maybe it was one of the reasons why they failed

what exactly is the reason they like it?? the south africans i mean....how does it encourage any team? this is a serious question...

i know some east african friends and i went to their wedding and their music was ALL the same, it was like 4 hours of the same sound, i mean it had a rhythm but it kept repeating and i was saying to myself what is this? its like playing the same song over and over, hardly any differences......now these vuvuzela's remind me of that, same monotone sound without any change all the way thru

its funny, whenever it shows the fans, even african fans, they seem to be dancing and claping. So i dont understand who plays the vuvuzelas. I think its less than one in 15 of african fans and more frequent with tourists but they are so loud that you constantly hear them.

                    It's getting much quieter.

For England games, I can hear the bands and drums for the fans.. Get in there.

so WC is over and FIFA didnt ban the vuvuzelas but it seems like they dont go away...people still use them in some stadiums although not as severe...god i hope this doesnt become a problem moving forward

luckily FIBA (basketball) has just banned them from the upcoming basketball world championship

I'm really not sure why these have become such a big deal. I've had one (and used it) in stadiums since 1997. Many of the people around me have to. If you watch a game at Azteca Stadium, that's all you will hear.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.
