    is the green mistake worse or this one...

    As an old timer I remember old stuff and as a Bayern fan I will never forget this game which was only upped when the MAN U 99 final happened. This is the second leg of the semis of the champions league in 1991. Bayern at Red star. Watch Bayern's captain (augentaller) goal its at th 7:50 of the video (and if you wanna see why the game was so horrible for Bayern fans, watch till the end )
    my point is this is a group game only and compared to this one its not that big of a deal. England will bounce back.

    They are very similar.. However, I feel Greens shot was much weaker than the free-kick.

        Thats just a bobble, and it's not that bad.. Green and the Bayern keeper actually saved an easy shot, and flapped about it.

          It wasn't the Bayern keeper that gave up that goal. It was Red star
          But regardless gives the england game was a group game, I don't think it is as important as the semis of the champions league. But thats just me

            same thing almost..!! but green's was worst because he didnt have a wall of players infront of him and had a clear view of the shot..! all the way..!!
            but green had to save the goofy, wc ball....jambalaya ..!!? or whatever the name is..!! i actually felt it and it feels like a jumpy, rubber ball..!! keeper will be much safer punching away the ball on such shots rather than trying to save it..!!

              no England will still not win the WC in South Africa.
              and they won't win it anytime soon as Brazil will be hosting and winning the one in 2014.

                bachelot, the ball has been hit with some criticism, but I don't think there was much swerve or power in Dempsey shot which troubled Green..?
