Kin Jung Il:
"Ignore decadent Western scoring methods. Using flawless North Korean system of scoring, Glorious Nation recorded a 5 on the Jong-Il scale, whereas imperialist dogs only registered a 2.
Therefore Glorious Nation is still unbeaten in world football tournaments, and remains world number one!"

North Koreans are presumably like South Koreans genetically, actually even a bit talller. But they need to improve living standards and nutrition by 15 fold.
I think they are so poorly fed that even their stamina is not so good. Tough mental composure is all they got.

This was one of the most exciting games in the 2010 WC so far! I 'm glad that I didn't miss it.
With politics aside, I hope our Korean brothers make it through the group. They're just people who have nothing to do with the NK government. I hope the common North Koreans will have something to be happy about. They needed it for a long time.

Jong Taese has a dual citizenship. Neither Korea normally allows it but when Jong tried to turn in his SK passport it was not permitted because neither Japan nor South Korea recognizes NK as a country.
Jong however seems to be happy with it as he freely uses his SK passport when he travels. With a SK passort you can travel to most countries without a visa.
Jong probably could have played in EPL but when the talk was going on, the visa problem and his complicated nationality issue got in the way and EPL clubs gave up on him.

and he scored 2 cracking goals vs Greece in a friendly last month, and a very neat finish in their 3-1 friendly defeat to Nigeria last week.
his first touch was excellent, was selfish at times, but it's expected.
really looking forward to see how he does vs Bruno Alves and Carvalho

North Korea are just not represention Asia. They are presenting passion and pride in football. That striker crying for his nation was absolutely brilliant. I loved it. Some players don't even know their national anthems and just stand waiting for the cameras to fly out.
North Korea will prove difficult for Ivory Coast and Portugal to break down.I've learnt it's not what you have in your life, but who you have in your life that counts
