after 44 years and they scored against the King Brazil, it is a shame for Iran and IFF federation. Iran had 3 times World Cup and never did good.. you saw 2006! annd North Korea had playing beter than Iran and they made also a goal! it is a shame for us.. in the first place Iran must be her and North Korea not..

Im interested to see the impact of WC2010 as a whole towards Asian football and the upcoming tournament in less than 7 months.

I personally think we will see the rise of Uzbekistan and North Korea.

At the very least Im excited because this shows that if any team plays to their unique stlye...anything is possible....

Also what is the best world team we have scored against? Croatia? USA? Japan? South Korea? Id honestly like to know.

Actually Iran's av goal/game in WCs is 0.66/game, the lowest even in Asia.
Saudis, Iran, Japan - 2002 have similar goals/game stats.

Besides, NK once beat Italy in a WC. Iran were not even close. The US Iran beat finished last in that WC.

It is good that robbers and thieves are leaving N Koreans alone. I guess there is nothing to steal.

This world cup should be called crime-world cup. There is not a single country who did not suffer from crime, maybe except NK.

Ever since the Asian qualifications and their friendlies, I noticed that NK learns from their games pretty quickly. I expected them to do pretty well in the WC, but even then they surprised me with their strong defense and quick passes. They even made a lot of chances.

This korean teams has all of the things TM have lacked for years. Solid teamwork, good coaching, and a fundemental idea regarding how to attack. If TM was playing Brazil, the players would pass it back to one of the centrebacks, he then would blast the ball down the field hoping that a player would be there to score. TM would then promptly lose 10-0.

I love how they make fun of them because of the fact that they don't have enough money for a private gym and yet they play so well and disciplined as a team. It wouldn't surprise me if they get at least a draw from portugal. I personally think they are going to suffer against Ivory coast. Their style a little bit more open because of their wingers and so its going to be tough to keep everything compact.

Any body who saw the first brazil goal , see if you can answer these questions:


1-Did he (Maicon right back defender) mean to score or cross?

2-The angle was like 178 degrees from goal, was the ball curving?in other words ,did he curve the ball to score?

3-was he lucky? or did he mean to score like that?

4-Was this a Goal keeper error? (he should have had that angle covered)

5- Do you know how to rep me?(this is a KC Disease)

1. no he meant to get a cross in..!
2.he had to rush the cross as the ball was in a hurry to go out..! he tried to hit a cross with inside of his foot but missed and the ball hit the slightly to the outside his boot and swerved towards the goal from that tight angle..!
3. he got luck ..! for most part..!
4. Yes and NO, yes a keeper's main responsibility is to cover the near side angle and not allow a goal from that angle..! NO because 19 out of 20 actual intended shots on goal from that tight of an angle especially when the shooter is on the run will be missed or go out..!! and its rather a smarter decision to opt to cover the more dangerous and probable play (a cross across the goalmouth)..!
Keeper took a calculated and intelligent risk by cheating a step up to cover the most probable danger from that play but it backfired on him..!
if you look at the play in regular speed (not slow motion), you too will see it my way, because he was not in full control of the ball with time to LOOK UP & see the gap and make a decision to shoot!! further proof is the surprised look on his face and the fact that he didnt act like he meant that as a shot all along..!!
Although now he may yet claim as such..!!:bs:
