What a national embarassment for the French and as an American Iranian I LOVE IT!! It just get's better and better from Ribery and two other horny losers paying a 17 year old French girl for sex(big no no), to the players storming out on their coach in practice. I was very happy to see Mexico thump France 2-0 it was beautiful. Hey at least we stuck a goal in the back on the net.

In my soccer pool I didn't even have the French advancing because I was basing it on their piss poor performance in the euro cup, and the way they eeked out a win against Ireland by Henry's hand of god goal. The French just don't belong in this world cup. They might be able to savage a cute win against South Africabut who cares?

I wonder how long will it take for this coach to get wacked by the French moffia?

well the ribery thing, he didnt know they were 17 and the whores admitted to that and prostituion is legal in France so its not that bad. Of course he did cheat on his wife and kids.

And their piss poor performance was because they were in group of death with world champions italy and holland who were on fire, not to mention a strong romania.

This is quite similar then to the Kobe Bryant case a few years ago Persianbruin I'm sure remembers that. The difference is that Kobe was accused of rape and he was the biggest basketball star in the nba. still bad publicity is not good publicity and it shows the whole team in a negative lite, especially when two other guys were involved.

I'll give you the group of death argument but the French along with the English so far have been the biggest busts as far as powerhouse teams go.

              English players seem tired.

France's World Cup in-fighting has reached Presidential level, with Nicolas Sarkozy intervening in the row
Le Bleus players went on strike on Sunday over the decision by the French Football Federation to send Nicolas Anelka home.
Although they were due to train on Monday ahead of Tuesday's clash with South Africa, fall-out from the affair continues.
Sarkozy has requested sports minister Roselyne Bachelot to investigate.
Mme Bachelot told TFI television: "We are taking note of the indignation of the French people and... calling for dignity and responsibility.
"It's not yet the right time to take disciplinary action but that time will come very soon."
Other politicians in France have also expressed dismay at the situation, which threatens to completely derail what has already been an ill-tempered tournament for France.
They have to beat South Africa heavily in Group A to have any chance of qualifying.
