It is not matter of adding spots for Asia or South America.........
The best is to reduce the spots for Europe......
13 is far too many......,...may be 11 is better for them.....and add one to Asia/oceania and one to south America.

Why do people make such judgements on the basis of first round group matches?? Long term performance is more important.

In Germany 2006, 4 European teams made the semi-finals...by some people's logic they should have therefore increased Europe's allocation to 20+ teams to reflect that.

yeh they need to change the qualification process. Switserland, greece and isreal being the best in one group is stupid where another group has denmark n portugal which are both better or france and ireland which are both better (yes i know franc suked dik this time around,but normaly).

until new zealand stop getting through, why would we deserve another one. S.korea, our best team, scraped it. Had nigeria scored the sitter against them that 3 2 victory would have been enough for them to qualify. And nigeria are shit imo.

Tjey should add, New Zeland and those islands playing with it, to Asia..and make it , " The Greater Asia/Ocenea "..and give it 6 spots .

but then what? Iran, saudi arabia and new zeland??? 5 is enough. however, this WC shows that the europeans are good but are excellent in their own continent only due to home advantage. a spot should be taken away from them and perhaps go to south america??? or give asia 5 spots and oceania should play vs europe... would that work?

To be seriouse....

1- Europe,deserves 13 spot, and should keep it.
2-Concacaf, does not deserve 3 & 1/2, every year, Mexico and USA are easyly qualified.
3-South America also should keep its 5 &1/2
4-Asia needs more spots,specialy if they have added Australia.
5-Africa,keeps its spots too.

Conclusion :

The the half from Concacaf,add it to Asia/Australia !!

therefore:

1- Asia - 5
2-Europe- 13
3-South America-5 & 1/2
4-Ocenia ( new Zeland & Islands )- 1/2

7-Host country- 1
