^^^^^he does not have to do anything as a coach except jump up and down like a puppet when they score.... he included veron in his world cup squad despite being 35, he left out cambiasso and zanetti. i dont think he is a good coach..I am not sure how he got this job?.Argentina is playing great and their success has nothing to do with him...just my opinion.

they havent been missed yet. Veron is a sub but had a great first game. He hasnt got much to do, but hes done briliant with team chemistry.

if I remember correctly both Cambiasso and Zanetti also missed their PK's against Germany in 2006

England were brutally and systematically sodomized (without cessation) by a far superior team.

I used to think kinda the same but slowly begining to love the dude..!
They have plenty of talent but at wc level you need the passion, drive and belief in your camp to achieve greatness and he is doing a great job of doing that for his team. It's obvious that his players love to play for him and I believe so far he has done a brilliant job of managing the personalities of his players and to keep them united and cohessive. I had huge concerns of his tactical knowledge but it's quite evident to me during the past few games that he is not making the tactical decisions all on his own. There are couple of other dudes on the bench who advice him prior to any subs or tactical changes which he makes on the sideline, and probably there are other dudes in the background which we don't know about who pull managerial decisions as well....! He seems to be just the face for their national team. ..!
Besides he is actually pretty smart in the way of creating lots of hashie around Himself and hence relieving his players from controversy which all media seek to find always. Kinda like morhinio does often..!
I wasn't all too found of him b4 the world cup, but now that I have been actually following the team, I'm loving this guys Fat Belly and his big bear hugs and kissies..!
I am still concerned of their soorakh, leaderless backline and especially that sorry-ass, slow reacting keeper they brought to SA..!!
