Dam Germany made England their bi*ch in thsi game. It seemed like Germany were running in the best soccer cleats and England were running in those big military boots. The Germans were younger, faster, and stronger than the English today. The Germans introduced some young blood a while back and it was a gamble but it worked. The English have great players but they looked old and slow.

I would like to see a goal line technology added to the game, but I know arrogant Fifa would never allow such a logical thing to happen.

IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

England really had no business being in the World Cup. If Edwardo wasn't injured, Croatia would've kept them out of it like they did in the 2008 Euro cup.

          I would've rather seen Germany-New Zealand.

I always knew about Ozil, so him impressing ain't a surprise to me.

I am so impressed by Khedira though....amazin young player, knows when to defend, and makes some very intelligent runs.

unlike that useless average Gareth Barry who makes Ozil look like Usain Bolt

The same 'useless average' Barry was wanted DESPERATELY by Liverpool FC to replace Xabi Alonso.

its a shame that klose had to get that red card. I am sure he would have tied either Muller or ronaldo as one of the top 3 WC goal scorers of alltime. although there is still an outside chance to do it

and it was a mistake, thank god the deal fell through

Gareth Barry is average at best.

England's downfall began in 2004 when Sven played Scholes outta position to accommodate Lampard, which forced Scholes who was England's best midfielder to retire early from international football and now they lack such midfielder in their team.

I swear Rdowell at 18, can do a better job than Barry as a DM

lets face it England was just shit thorughout and even if they equalized Im sure Germany would have still won the game.
But poor Mexico was hard done. They were on top in the first 20-25 minutes until the goal that was a metre offside killed their hopes because they saw it on big screen and it destroyed their moral, gotta feel for the mexicans.

how many more goals does he need to tie roanldo's record?
he really steps up in the wc. his determination for the first goal was amazing.

i love how the germans show so much gheyrat for their country but the england players are more concerned for their clubs which pay them, not to get injured in the wc so they miss the season.

h needs 3 more to tie ronaldo. I truly believe he would have got at least 2 against Ghana and Serbia.

                              Alltime scorers:

                              15 - Ronaldo in 4 world cups
14 - Gerd muller in 2 world cups
13- Just Fontaine in 1 world cup
12 - Pele in 4 world cups and Klose in 3 world cups

England were poor, no doubt about that, but if you go into the break 2-2, then they will be positive and momentum would've been with England. In WC, you need lucky breaks to go far, but this wasn't even a 'lucky' thing. It was something referee should've gave.. anyways, its gone

Barry is just a passer of the ball. He can't tackle that well, and his interception is quite poor. For me, if you were to play Scholes, you need a bulldog beside him, like a Fletcher,Hargreaves,Keano etc..
For England, we don't have many.. Hargreaves is one, but always injured.. Rodwell, still fairly young.

In Argentina, you have Masherano.. Brazil have Melo, Italy have Gattuso.. you need a player to break up things.
                                England lack that.
