goals look spectacular when you skip the teamwork which is something Mexico tried to do last week by going for the homerun each and everytime. We saw what happened to them and now we see the same happened to argentina!

germans had great teamwork to defend especialy and to go forward, but argentina were horrible defensively, not because of germans being brilliant only but a combination. Not even england would have conceded the first goal. And the other goals, especailly the 2nd and 3rd would not have gone in had their been even an average defence. Having said that, credit to germany. I hope spain win today, i would fuking hate a paraguay semi final. The good news for germany is that spain are just as bad as argentina defensively, but they are better at keeping the ball.

i think it's safe to say germans will win this WC
and i think the ball is giving them an unfair advantage

For all those that were expecting Argentina to do very well in the World Cup have been silenced. I fancied Germany to win this game, but I did not expect it to be a stroll.

Winning your group games convincingly means nothing. Holland beat Italy and France in Euro 2008, but when it came to beating a Russia side, they lost. Argentina won three games in their group (Nigeria,Korea, and Greece), who are relatively easy opponents. They did that.. They needed a lucky break to beat Mexico (Tevez offside goal opened the game up).. but when they faced a real opponent who can hurt their defence.. then ouch, they did get hurt.

I always said that the Right-Back of Argentina is a weakness. Uusually Guitierz (whos a left-mid) plays there, but that right-back today(Oltamedi or whatever) was destroyed by Podolski. Schweintsieger was ticking things in the middle, and Klose was just his usual brilliant finisher.

Germans always get the job done.

If Spain win tonight, then we have a CRACKING semis on our hand.

                Spain are so over-rated

I won't be surprised if they lost tonight thanks to a Casillas howler

                    2nd goal was clearly offside.

It's not offside when the receiving player is behind the ball. Podolski was further ahead, near the touch line when he sent the pass. Offside is called when the receiving player is ahead and receives the pass from behind, but not the other way around. That's why no commentators reacted, well actually one did and explained why it's not offside.

you win or lose.... it's how drunk you get.
