It will be a sad day for football, if Spain walks away with WC

look @ the 4 teams left in the tournament.

Netherlands: definitely deserve to be where they are today, beating an amazing Brazil team (believe it or not, Dunga's team was a machine and self destructed, they were unbeaten for such a long time) justifies their inclusion in the final 4. not to mention the potential WPOTY winner Sneijder leading the team and their best player Robben missing the group stage, and yet they are here in semis without even going to the second gear.

Uruguay:a lot of heart, mixed with some luck. the 50s are back. a beast of a player in Forlan and a great intelligent prospect in Suarez, not to mention a rock in Llugano. the last team to qualify for these WC, and no matter what happens to them it'd be a success for them.

Germany: a very young team who was written off as soon as Ballack got injured, has outscored their opponents 13 to 2, playing THE REAL ATTRACTIVE FOOTBALL (Pass and Move) with a lot of integrity and ethic. humilated England and Argentina. only lost one game due to horrible refereeing.

    and then

Spain: bunch of whining, arrogant players. when their players won't even celebrate when Ineista scored vs Chile, as they are more concerned with getting the poor Chilean player sent off..I MEAN COME ON, Your team fuking scored. boring- ass football, 100000short passes, everyone all over the place, most of the time Iniesta is their CF, and a half fit, not sharp Torres plays on the wing. Alonso, Ramos and Busquets foul all they want without getting booked. the same fouls for which German and Dutch players are cautioned.
beating Portugal with an offside goal, and today their opponent had a legit goal disallowed, and then Paraguay's penalty should have been re-taken as 2 Spain players ran into the box when Cardozo hit the peno. David Villa slaps the poor Honduran player, and then he gets away with it, with nothing. Torres the disgrace hits himself and falls as he's been shot to get the Chilean player sent off and etc etc many more.

It'd be a shame for football as a whole if Spain runs away with the WC.

hopefully justice serves right on wednesday night

One thing that really angers me is not one spanish player even attempts to sing their national anthem. They dont want to win for spain they wont to win for themselves. I hope they lose

with the way they've progressed so far, I wouldn't be surprised if they win, as the game will be 11+3(refs) vs 11...so 14 vs 11

Spain is the most disgusting team left in the tournament....half of their players (Catalans) don't even want to be part of Spain NT, they want their own NT for fuk's sake.

I have to admit - I have very mixed feelings about Spain. In a way they control the game perfectly with the million or so short passes. On the other hand, those million or so passes really slow the game and make me want to read a book instead .

Spain also has major issues in defense. They would have problems with a fast team like Germany or Holland. They were lucky against Portugal with the offside goal, and Paraguay where the first goal was disallowed for offside (unless you count the guys finger tips).
.... At the end I am nothing other than ordinary

Paraguay goal was offside.Cardozo was offside wen the ball was crossed.he jumped to get the ball.regardless if he touched it or not.that's considered offside.

i agree with you except that the team that deserves to be in the final 4 the least is holland. all they have done is beat brazil by pure luck. not to mention van bommel should have gotten 7-8 yellow cards yet he didnt get any. and most of their goals were all fluck.

Spain of 2008 were too good.

Del Bosque is ruinning what Aragones built, Spain of 2008 could easily beat any team in the world with absolutely no trouble, instead now, they look clueless and only a messiah like Villa and some dodgy decisions save their ass every time.

I mean, what in this tournament has shown that Spain are too good ??
Del Bosque is playing almost everyone outta position. playing Xavi as AM, Xabi too high on the pitch, etc etc and that's why the team is suffering.

a team as talented as that Spanish squad, should be battering their opponents, instead of outscoring them 6-2 in their last 5 games.

Spain are poor man's Barcelona....a very poor man's Barcelona..BUT, Barcelona have a game plan unlike Spain, and Barcelona can make up for their lack of width with a world class RB like Dani Alvez, while Spain are too narrow and need Ramos to do it for them, but Ramos has always been found out against decent wingers...so here is hope for Podolski.

i think there is no argument about the fact that spain will be completely destroyed by germany.

I really dount anyone can deny that Spain of 2008 was much better than the current Spain, and Germany of now is a better version of their 2006 and 2010 version and will be the most feared team in the world in 2014 when all these young players reach their peak and mature with more youth to come.

Germany showed they can fully neutralize top attacking talents (Messi, Tevez, Higuain, Di Maria) with a great game plan and 2 TOP TOP box to box midfielders in Schweini and Khedira who dispossess opisition without committing a foul. I hope Low has learnt from his 2008 mistakes and can beat a weakened Spanish side.

such a shame a great young talent like Mueller will miss the game due to incompetence of a horrible Uzbeki referee. but he can be replaced by Marin, Kroos, or even Trochowski who is more defensive minded.
