These two teams have never before played each other in recent times hence there is no history to allude to. Both have been the best two teams so far in SA 2010, and been winning with narrow but sure results.

The best thing about this set up is that since I really don't have a preference for either side, I can just sit back and enjoy the game. Had Germany made it into the final, the situation would have been totally different.

One thing from a purely observational point of view: Holland's defense and goal keeping is not that great, while they do better in scoring. Spain however, while failing to get many goals, is extremely hard to score on, with their great defence and goal keeping. In fact Paraguay could not even score their game time Penalty kick on Spain!
