Jesus, I thought some of the "armchair generals" on the Irandefence forum were bad, but some of you "armchair coaches" here are unbelievable! Regardless of what any of you think about the coaching staff, believe me that there is not a thing that you guys could say or do that would be beneficial to these guys. This is the level of Iranian basketball talent at the moment, just accept it and enjoy it for what it is.

As far as tomorrow's game vs. the US, I think the biggest suspense and story line is whether Oshin Sahakian asks Lamar Odom whether he can meet and take a picture with Khloe Kardashian, since she'll be there in the stands watching.

arsalan really needed more support this game, he couldnt do it by himself. if you give him better defenders you can see more because he plays better. we needed more natural shooters like bahrami. hadadi really needed to stop shooting the 3

So, what positives can Iran gain from this tournament?

If we win Asian Championship again, we get in Olympics again, how likely is that though? So probably next best chance is World Championship 2014, and hopefully then we can maybe win atleast 2 games and compete a bit more. But maybe we should also try to get some players in Europe or NCAA, since NBA is out of the question really.

It is likely that we win the asian championships because with afagh and bahrami we are the best in asia but even if we make the olympics we wont do any better then now because superstars play in the olympics. I think our best chance to make it to the next stage will be in 2014
