He is certainly better than lampard, but its a toss up between him and ronaldinho. Unfortunatly, the voters tend to be biased towards s.american and european players, so i don't think this is a the year for nosrati. His year will come soon, though.

Man i starting to hate FIFA more and more...!
WTF does Lampard and Eto'o do in the shortlist of FIFA world player of the year 2005:bs: ??? Man Lampard even cannot keep up Cesc Fabregas !!! There are atleast 2 strikers and atleast 20 midfielders who deserve it more then Eto'o and Lampard! Henry en Shevchenko are far more better then Eto'o.
And for Lampard... I'm sorry but he is not very special. Nedved, Vieira, Gerard, Karimi(he has the potential), Makalele, Demichelis, Seedorf, Kaka, Emerson, Essien, Zidane, Juninho, Ballack, Xabi Alonso and a lot of others are better players then him(and im only talking about midfielders right now).
And Henry deserved this award previous year and also two years ago(when Zidane became world footballer instead of Henry:bs: :bs: :bs: )
And for Eto'o.... Even I could score more then 20 goals with PLayers like Ronaldinho and Deco behind me
                    My last name isn't Punani
