Well, yesturday 2 of our wrestlers got knocked out. 1 of them didn't even compete as he was drawn with Israel.
We have out last wrestler competing today in Greco-Roman.
Guys help me out here... what do you think about the USSR having the highest medal count in the Wrestling World Championships? I mean... if they're going to have wrestlers from Georgia, Azerbaijan, and the various other Stans that are always going to have really great ringers... is it really fair to keep that record under an obsolete national entity when it was really just a conglomeration of really great wrestling countries? I suppose that's how it works out, just doesn't seem right to me.
Just another reason to hate Russia, I s'pose.

Since then, it's been wailing a tender agony of parting, never mentioning the skill that gave it life as a flute." -- Rumi

"Iranians are poets and tend to use language as though it were paint, to be spread out, blended, swirled. Words can be presented as pieces in a puzzle, pieces that may or may not fit together neatly." - New York Times
also the team ranking includes men and WOMEN, Iran never has women wrestlers so it'll be really hard for us to ever get #1 just the fact that we got #5 is great
