??? he was aiming for the goal like anyone would

and anyone whos played any soccer knows its a lot harder to score when someones breathing down your neck or literally on top of you like in drogbas case, than when you have nobody within 10 yards of you like pirlo, or any free kick. So to me drogbas was clearly the better goal

Actually, Alex is known to score those crackers- maybe, not with as much swerve as the one against Arsenal- that's at least the third or fourth time I see him score like that..

Roberto Carlos was something else, though. He is the grand master of unusual and incredible goals from any angle.

I remember Seedorf's goal (when he played for Real) from near the half way line he launched it and it went straight in.

Pirlo must have been watching it too.
Bagheri's def nicer- won goal of the tournament that year, our only consolation. He was slightly further out than Pirlo.

yes he was definitely aiming for the goal and not only that but between the goal post and the keeper but what made that goal from a very good finish to a 'screamer' is the fact that had it been 1cm to the left it would have bounced of the post and out and i dont think he was aiming it of the post and in. I know its really difficult to score in that situation but i wouldnt say its a screamer.

I'm surprised that you would decide to talk about the Drogba goal over the screamer from Alex.

He scored a good goal, but not thread worthy.

The level of difficulty in Drogba's goal was much higher. Other than Berbatov I can't think of anyone else in the EPL that would have attempted such a goal, let alone scored it.
