they are just waiting for the playoffs to start to play all out...when they actually play all out, like when they went 17-1 after the all star break, they are the best team. they started losing after b/c they knew they couldn't get the 1 seed and the 2 seed would be better anyways, so they lost focus a little. and i don't see any team in the NBA that can match up with the Lakers, not even the Bulls. lakers are just too big and have great depth on the bench.

dream final would be thunder-bulls with the thunder taking it, but i selfishly kind of want the thunder to lose cause there is a slight chance im transferring to oklahoma next year and i kind of want to be there when they win their first one.

^^^shit thats what ive been telling people for the past 3 months but I just realized that the finals are in june and I wont be there anyway cause its summer break...haha. So I guess I do want them to win.

im dying of laughter at the people who seriously think theyr just going to come to life in playoffs. they havent done anything special all year and arent going to in the playoffs. they will be lucky to make it to the western conf finals.

one thing i know about playoff is there are only like 3 teams that can win it all every single year and this goes back decades. Alot of teams LOOK strong but they wont go all the way...examples of past; dallas, phoenix, utah, knicks, orlando, etc...



this year it'll be between; bulls, spurs, lakers

lol @ lakers beating OKC....you do realize that you guys barley beat the thunder team last playoff...when you guys where at the top of your game and the thunder did'nt have Perkins, nazi mohammed, and most of the players lacked playoff experience! They won 57 games and not one team or player has the balls to come out and rule them out cuz they are all afraid. OKC put their subs in the game in OT to lose and stay in the 4th spot while memphis rested some of their main players to stay in the 8th spot. all of this and you say they haven't done anything special and the funny thing is you are right cuz they have not done anything special ......by lakers standards that is

lamers have the advantage in size.. if they had no bynum for the playoffs Mavs or even blazers between those two would be in the finals.. BUT they are old and washed up and the young okc are a bit older and wiser now and they'll sting the lamers and it'll be start of the lamers going downhill from here :P

I think after celtics trading Perkins away they did really shoot themselves in the foot with that move. just like lamers they have the advantage in size and shaq keeps getting hurt by just looking at that dood (he needs to retire already)... i think the knicks will lose to celtics but they'll suck the energy out of them and just like lamers, celtits are too old, the winner of the series between the b!tch 3 or sixers will be in the conference finals. as much as i love to see sixers beat the b!tch 3, it wouldn't happen

the next generation and face of the league Rose v.s Durant. two very good friends will go head to head and as much as i love to see DRose beat Kobe, which in my opinion it'll be passing the torch from one super star to the next uprising super star. Drose will be MVP of the season and MVP of the finals

as for your OKC comment, two years ago everyone was saying the nuggets were going to make it to the finals and last year people were picking Phx and if the lakers dont make it to the finals its not because of bynum its because of their guard situation. For all intents and purposes the lakers have only 3 guards on their roster. That will take its toll on the two grandpas, Kobe and Dfish. That makes me worried.

I am calling out my fellow Bruin Babak right here. Babak lets go back to the discussion we had regardng Joe Smith and Sasha. I said you were wrong before and I have changed my opinion to being DEAD wrong now. Horrible move!! Sasha was a guard who cold shoot the three and could play defense. He also proved to be reliable in the clutch by making those championship clinching freethrows. I was hoping you were right (god knows) but unfortunately that was a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE trade
