Al Harrington recently predicted that Monta Ellis will lead the NBA in scoring this year. After the game against the Lakers a few nights ago, Phil Jackson also said he wouldn't be surprised if Monta wins the scoring title.

Kobe had 20+ points in each of the first halves of the last 2 games before getting some rest which tells me he is still the best scorer in the game. He needs to avg out 25 a game for the next 6 years in order to pass fellow bruin kareem as the NBA's alltime leading scorer.
