For the second time in the last 5 years, the lakers are trading for one of the worst #1 overall picks of alltime. First Kwame small hands Brown and now Joe smith who was drafted before players like rasheed wallace, Jerry Stackhouse and a guy known as KG. khak too saremoon. Hope its just a salary dump.

Still can't believe Kevin Mchale wanted to pay 100 mil to THIS guy!

There's a reason he's been in the league for 15 years. He is a great veteran backup PF who can hit the outside jumper and play solid D in the paint. He's basically the Lakers version of Jermaine O'Neal on the Celtics. Also, Sasha was in the dog house and the team was better off without him (and his salary) around.

And I only like to disagree with you when I think you're wrong. In this particular instance, I definitely think you're wrong.

Even as a college player he was overrated. He was national player of the year the same year UCLA won the national championship. I was like....um..why!?

as far as what you said, yeah but I say the same thing when the lakers got aaron mackie (whatever the spelling is) vlade (the second time) and theo ratliff. These guys are spent. JO is in the same shyt. you say 15 years and I say thats why you cant go through a playoff battle with them. Of course as a laker fan I hope you are right.

I bought the blu ray format of the 2010 finals (all 7 games and bonus stuff) Can't wait to sit down and watch them since I didn't get a chance to see the 3 Boston games. Cost me $55 but its so worth it.

In separate news, I bought the 2008 playoffs celtics DVD at the 99 cents store for....you guessed it: 99 cents!!

what a night in the NBA. From Kobe putting on a show in the second half to the 2 down to the wire games of winning spurs and celts and finally the cavs vs Lebron it was all excitement

ginobili what an amazing player. during the timeout after he scored the go ahead basket I was thinking how he was the MAIN reason for the spurs to prevent the lakers from winning their 4th consecutive championship in 03 by being the only spur to have the guts to take the chatge.....right after the timeout he did the same against melo. If it wasnt for ginobili, the lakers woulda won couple more championships with the shaq/kobe tendem
