The three dont make Magic a contender immediately but if they stay 100% Orlando will be in a short time.
This Magic team is good enough to win the 05,06,07 championship but there are 3 REALLY strong teams in the league now in LA, Boston and Miami that would ahve KILLED the competition during those 3 yearsso thats why I don't think they can't even get to the eastern conf. finals. But I agree that they are doing this to keep howard----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts

Well although we lost to Chigago on our first road game at least we closed out 5-1. We can't overlook our next opponent just because Miami is next I hope the Lakers don't fall into that trap. Sometimes after a long road trip you get excited about comming back home and you are looking forward to that sexy match up but you forget what is in front of you. I don't think that is going to happen though with this veteran team. The nba sseason really comes down to staying healthy that is such an overlooked aspect of the game most people forget about. Everyone loves to talk about the x's and o's but really what it boils down to is staying healthy and also getting hot at the right time. One reason for Lakers success is that they handle business in the playoffs when every game matters. Well we will see if that is true again this year but it's good to come back home. LA's next game will be my first game I'm going to watch this year so I'm getting excited to look at the team. I know we beat Toronto away but their best player was also hurt, so that definately kills their changes. Usually Toronto plays us tough so I was kind of worried.

^^^ hahaha magic are weak and soft when it comes to playoff time.. they are always loud in the season but when it comes to playoff time they just shut down like store on a christmas day.
just like the announcer said end of Bulls game, i hope the management looks at the cap space we got.. we dont need no Melo or a big name dude.. we need a guy like oj mayo, jr smith or courtney lee.. SG is for sure, i still dont get why thib starts bogas the guy is ridiculous 2 clear open shots behind the arc and BRICK!!! brewer well deserved to start then off the bench bring in korver and just use bogas IF we have to, i admit the guy on defense side is doing good job but NOTHING on offense. we look lost without Noah.. positive note is that this shoes how valuable Noah is to our team and thank god that they extended his contract.
second oldest dude in the league is the starting Center for us, he's doing great but dam he could not rotate on defense like noah . He could not clog the lane and challenge shots like Joakim.
but we be alright.. sadly have to wait another 6 weeks till stick stickty gets bak!!!

Man the Lakers OUCH we got owned in our own house. I agree 100% with Magic Johnson that was embarassing to the people of Los Angeles. The Lakers were flat, lathargic, and just cold but let's give props to Miami for playing good defense. The Lakers better get their acts together like Magic said, "The Spurs are for real and so are the Maverics and both teams could beat the Lakers they might not even reach the finals."
Right now the two best teams are Miami and Boston you could argue Miami is 1A Boston 1B. I don't know where to put the Lakers right now but they are not a top 5 team right now the way they are playing.
As for Chicago dam sorry Gormeh Sabzi I was thinking about you while I was watching the NY game I was like oh boy he's not too happy right now with those Knicks and that gimmick college offense. I happen to agree with you Boston is very nasty but I think Miami migh be nastier man their defense is unbelieveable. Of course when Kobe and Pau only go for 17 points each, you are not going to win. Oh I agree with you on the Magic being soft they are the new Dallas Mavs great regular season team choke artists in the playoffs. Although Stan VanGundy needs to do something to get Turkulu(spelling) Richardson, Agent Zero, and Howard all on the field and they will have a chance but honestly man Turkulu has been non existent.
By the way honestly I think one of the most underrated stars in teh NBA is Amarie Stoudamire. The guy is really good but with guys like Kobe, LeBron, DWade, Bosh, Paul Pierce, KG, Pau, Ray Allen, etc Stoudamire get's overlooked at points. Every time I see him he impresse me and he came back from an ACL tear. Usually that = death to a career or the player is never the same but Stoudamire is a great pick up for the Knicks.
Oh and also watch out for Galianari(forget how to pronounce his name the Euro dude I think he is I-talian for the Knicks who can shoot lights out) man tat guy when he is hot he is a pure shooter. Dude went off on the Bulls from behind the arc.

By the way who is your team?
