Absolutely true. I never liked Dr. J but now I actually hate him. Did you see the look on his face? That was insecurity at its best

Funny how when the announcer introduced him said the former USC trojan but did not mention Westbrook as a former UCLA bruin. Its all because Jerry buss is a Trojan. That lacked total class. But Demar was awesome. He should have made it to the finals.

Legends are born in the playoffs. Give me 10 guys who put up numbers like kobe did in the threepeat run. For god's sakes on the road in the NBA finals at the age of 21 AFTER Shaq fouled out he destroyed the pacer in OVERTIME (look at my reply to ekki, scroll down). Next year at the age of 22 against the best team in the league san antonio spurs he avged 30 pts 7 rbs and 7 assts for the ENTIRE series. If you can find me 10 players who did better prior to 2004 I'll retract my comment

Kobe was so dominant at teh time that the only thing haters had to say was that he could only do it b/c he had shaq, well shaq left and Kobe's numbers got only better so then they said he doesnt make his teammates better. There is always something and its all Kobe's fault b/c he was waaaay too c0cky when he came to the league and the veterans didnt like it. I am sure if he could go back he would change that part. Don't get me wrong he had the right to be c0cky cuz he was THAT good but he should ahve just acted humble

I have one response for you. Unlike these joojeh tighiz You are old enough to remember this:

Game 4 of the 2000 NBA finals, overtime, shaq fouled out (2:13 of the video), ON THE ROAD, 21 year old Kobe takes over the game and gets 4 straight FGs including a huge offensive rebound and a nice putback His reaction at 2:49 of the video when the entire laker nation was nervous with shaq on the bench is what he would give you if he read your post

Kobe deserved the ASG MVP but Durant won the game for the west, he made the shots when it mattered.

Ghormeh Sabzi where'd you meet D-Rose and get the autograph? And Masoud was spot on about everything that happened during the dunk contest.

Carmelo Anthony has been traded to the Knicks, according to a sources that spoke to the Denver Post and New York Daily News.

New York will give up a package centered around Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Timofey Mozgov, their own first round pick in 2014, Golden State's second round picks in 2012 and 2013, and $3 million in cash.

Going to the Knicks with Anthony will be Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman.

^^am i the only one that thinks this is the dumbest trade ever?

first of all carmelo to me is the most overrated "star" in the league
and the only reason amare has been playing so well is because he has been the star that he wants to be, now he is second fiddle again, and his performance will decline again. And they basically have the exact same game. Face up somewhere inside the 3 point line, then drive or shoot.
Dont get me wrong...chauncey, fields, melo, and amare +1 is a sick starting lineup and they will win games, but if you want to make a blockbuster deal like this go for a player that fits! Chicago is better, Bostons better, Miamis better, even orlando might be better. Dumb trade. Wont get anywhere in the playoffs. Shouldve waited/went for cp3 or d will (hornets organization in turmoil, utah is turning on williams)

lol the Knicks will be knocked out the first round. They just lost all their depth for another scorer.

No. I don't think this was the dumbest trade ever but I DO believe the Knicks gave up way too much for an overrated player.

Knicks fans are pretty pissed they gave up so much, but only time will tell how things turn out for both teams.

Nuggets definitely got some nice pieces for a player who was going to leave their team anyways, so props to them for that.

lol, you forgot one thing. How many of the mentioned won THREE championships!? I am talking doing that for three years and winning championships as well, getting big numbers only to lose in the finals or even before that doesn't count towards your greatness (well it counts towards it but in a negative way!)

anyways, the game yesterday saddened me. It was the first time I saw that Kobe has got old. The fact that he ran out of gas in the 4th quarter shows its an end of an era. True that he had a humongous 37 and 14 but we are talking Kobe here. It was disappointing to see he could barely get those dunks in there. I miss the days when he would go a foot above the rim and then slam it down with authority. ah well at least he is not playing in Turkey and he is still commanding a lot of attention. With everyone else in the lakers suckin I am not sure if the lakers can win it now.
