Westfield Culver City mall @ Foot Locker... I didn't know but i guess they had Melo, robert horry and couple other players showed up. they had this whole all star weekend event going on.


Adidas a day before decided to give out wristbands so only 150 ppl can show up. so in the original memo it said "first come first served" basically. but decided to change that cause of limit of time he had.. so about 20 of us that were from 6am were pissed off. so then after some of the guys arguing back and forth with adidas guys the adidas lady comes out and was super chill and said since u guys came so early she would let us go see DRose after the 150 have gone in first. then she said i cant guarantee cause he was gonna be there from 11am-12 then head out to staples. so we all like its chill.. so many ppl showed up and were turned down. ppl were trying sneak in our line but we like nah man GTFO lol if u were true fan you would show up early not like an hour before when you know a lot of ppl will show up.
so anyways DRose not only is fast but he is fast at giving ppl autograph. we found out later, not sure if it's true but that the Adidas lady told DRose when he arrived wat the situation was about 20 of us, and i guess he said he's cool with it and he wants us to get a chance to see him since we were all early bird. anyways the guy is amazing and most humble guy ever. that was awesome of him to be chill with it. giving autograph to 170 ppl less then an hour is no joke man lol especially before playing at an All Star game.

anyways, the game yesterday saddened me. It was the first time I saw that Kobe has got old. The fact that he ran out of gas in the 4th quarter shows its an end of an era. True that he had a humongous 37 and 14 but we are talking Kobe here. It was disappointing to see he could barely get those dunks in there. I miss the days when he would go a foot above the rim and then slam it down with authority. ah well at least he is not playing in Turkey and he is still commanding a lot of attention. With everyone else in the lakers suckin I am not sure if the lakers can win it now.

The lakers are on a decline, that's true, after all they are not robots.. but
I think Kobe can win another one before he retires, and it may very well be this year, although the Celtics will be very tough to beat, but the Lakers are the only team that can do it. San Anton and Miami won't have a chance.

The key is going to be the health of Andrew Bynum. He gives the lakers a strong defensive presence in the Paint. if he is healthy, I think they have as good a chance as any other team. Combination of Gasol and Kobe is still the best one , two punch in the NBA, specially in a playoff game.

i think Knicks just got weaker not stronger. they let go a lot of their young asset. I just don't get something, if melo wants to go to Knicks and he wants to win obviously why make the team u want to go give up all the good players just so they can land you in NY... why couldn' he just wait till off season and then sign with them. that way knicks wouldn't give up so much.


BTW no one talks about billups but i bet he is PISSED... he had said that he wants to finish up his career in Denver since he is from there. i wonder how he feels about this trade.


i hope Bulls get anthony parker. he'll be great fit. he has a very good behind the arc, he can draw the defenders and that leaves D open and D can drive it to the basket ZOOM fast dont lie.

lol, you forgot one thing. How many of the mentioned won THREE championships!? I am talking doing that for three years and winning championships as well, getting big numbers only to lose in the finals or even before that doesn't count towards your greatness (well it counts towards it but in a negative way!)
