        Serbians are really retarded

        Serb goalkeeper in hospital

Serbian goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic is in hospital for tests after hooligans went into the team bus and threw fireworks at the players.

The Euro 2012 qualifier between Italy and Serbia was abandoned at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris after travelling fans cut the protective nets with wire-cutters, smashed the Plexiglas barriers and threw flares.
The situation was already critical before kick-off, as the driver of the Serbian team bus revealed an ambush.
As the bus was about to leave the hotel, a group of hooligans came through the doors and threw fireworks at the players.
Goalkeeper Stojkovic was injured and is in the San Martino hospital in Genoa for tests, but his injuries are said to be ‘not serious.’

Scottish referee Craig Thomson called off the match after six minutes when more flares were thrown on to the pitch.
As of now, the Serbian supporters are still trying to leave the stadium, but there are reports of further crowd trouble outside Marassi.

Prandelli: 'Serbs shaking like a leaf'

Cesare Prandelli reveals Vladimir Stojkovic was “shaking like a leaf” before kick-off. “The hooligans’ actions were pre-meditated. They didn’t want the game to be played.”
Italy-Serbia was abandoned after six minutes at Marassi this evening when travelling fans repeatedly threw flares, used wire-cutters to slice open the protective nets and smashed in the Plexiglas barriers.

“We knew something was very strange when their first choice goalkeeper, Stojkovic, came into our locker room shaking like a leaf,” explained Coach Prandelli.

“He said the Serbian team bus had been attacked and there we understood their actions were pre-meditated.
“The intention of the Serbian fans was to ensure this game was not played. Was he beaten up? I don’t know.”
Stojkovic was taken to a local hospital for tests, but it is unclear what exactly happened on the bus.

Some reports state several hooligans burst through the doors as it was about to leave the hotel and threw flares, one of them striking or at least hurting Stojkovic.

The UEFA delegates and Serbian FA tried to push the game on, but Scottish referee Craig Thomson declared the safety of the players could not be guaranteed.

whats fvcked up is that when game started, serbia was playing rough too and when their fans threw the flare on the ground, the guy didnt even kick the ball out, he continued playing even though he knew the flare was behind the guy defending him, so the italian defender couldnt see it, he coulda easily ran over it

uefa is gonna decide soon, most likely italy will get a 3-0 win and away game at serbia possibly neutral ground or with no fans. i personally think its too dangerous for italian players to go there, they attacked THEIR OWN goal keeper...they are really some low life scums
